The gleaming building in Washington, DC cost over two hundred million dollars. The gleaming panels signaled a sense of cohesion and symmetry. It belied the dim reason why it existed in the first place. Loreen and Lisa trekked from Delaware with a purpose. They found the CEO and founder of Delachip, a billion-dollar firm which processed microchips.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you both,” Ferdinand Suez.

“Please call us Loreen and Lisa, Mr. Suez,” Loreen addressed.

“Absolutely,” Suez smiled. They sat in his l office which looked as sterile as an spacecraft construction site.

“So, the Antitrust laws are the reason why we’re not in Wilmington, Delaware right now. I didn’t want to build this space…it is beautiful though, no?”

“Of course it is. But let’s get to it, sir. These laws only throttle and hold your head underwater claiming to wash your face.”

“You know, I’ve never looked at it like that but yeah, it is kind of like that….” he pondered.

“I mean we can always petition the government and ensure that the laws get at least observed again if not ultimately repealed,” Lisa mentioned. Suez got up from his seat and looked at a giant black lettering which read WORK.

Lisa spoke up again. “We should be able to make this whole thing a thing of real beauty as a satellite site rather than a place for bureaucratic nonsense. All of this can be converted into a facility to exchange ideas as a 501 (c) (3) think tank.

Suez stopped on that note. “I like that. We can go back to Delaware and build up my infrastructure. It’s funny…I’ve spent more money on this place than in my other businesses, combined….”

“That’s why we’re here, Mr. Suez,” Lisa reassured. “We can make Antitrust go away.”

“Oh, yeah?”
