Businesswoman Chapter 340
Racing
The cars zipped around the track with a precision and hot, nasty speed. Loreen moved closer to the enclosure. The pit crew jumped onto the speedway in Dover, Delaware.
She hugged the earphones closer to her face. The racecar came up to her. She noticed that it seemed to breathe like a fifteen hundred pound animal. The souped up vehicle enticed her.
The owner of the team Jaxon Vonn, brown skinned and about average height led her to another car and they headed towards the office.
“Wow!”
“We get that a lot. Just a little infrequently nowadays,” Vonn admitted.
“That was an experience that made my heart jump into my throat, she said. But yes, that’s why I’m here. You’ve owned this racing team for ten years now. Yet you’re hemorrhaging funds and it’s difficult to get the vehicles on the track.”
Vonn nodded. “It’s a reality.”
“Okay, you’re gonna want to live in a world where supporters will climb over each other to get to see the team. You need more signings and relations with the private individuals.”
“We’ve tried that. People with our skin color don’t care about racing.”
“That’s simple to solve. The more people who tell about their great experiences no matter the shade of their skin, they will be able to post on social media. They’re going to focus on the fact that you represent excellence.”
Vonn folded his arms. He made it possible for a tattoo of a Cane Curso to be revealed.
“All we have to do is strategize. We can make this racing team the jewel of Delaware. You already have a winning record. You just have to make sure people care about that.”
Vonn rubbed his chin and stood. He walked around and shook Loreen’s hand vigorously.
“Thanks so much, truly.”
