A woman wearing stilettos and a smile and nothing else puffed on a vaporizer. She bent over to collect her thigh highs and jade dress.
The glint of the sun through the blinds shone on Entrepreneur Paul’s face. He opened his eyes. The glassy sight of the brown skinned woman made a wry smile cross his face.
“Going so soon?”
“I’ve gotta get back to the office. I have to shower. I have to put on my suit.”
“You have to stay here.”
“Not quite, sir.” She walked over to him and planted a kiss on his forehead. He found her lips.
“After work…the Mercier?”
“Sure. If I’m not locked in a meeting. I’ll let you know.” He kissed her mouth once more.
“Okay. I’ll just be saving the world from tyranny,” he mentioned with a sigh.
She left the bedroom. Atkinson looked up his site. His mouth drooped slightly. His fingers ran over the keys.
“What the hell?” He dialed Loreen.
“Entrepreneur Paul.”
“Who broke the Internet?”
“You, too?”
“I just looked at my site and it’s a giant frowny face.”
“Lisa’s losing her patience but remaining resilient. I think she’s going to be well. She’ll be stronger after all of this.”
“What about me? I’ve got billions in my account….”
“I’m sure of that. What we need to do is just wait it out until we get the word.”
“The word?! I need my money, Lor’!”
“Understandable. Entrepreneur Paul, we must have the power of our minds to alleviate this pain.”
Entrepreneur Paul showered and dressed all while on the phone.
He prepared a cup of coffee.
“I’ve seen sites go down before, but not like this. There are people under me I have to pay. There are people around me I have to pay.”
“I still know.”

Since it seemed to have turned into yet another undercover mission, crowds were going to be best avoided, because 4-H-N’s disguise was unlikely to work on Mini-Flashes who already knew her. Flashlight for example had known who she was even when she had her nightie on. She couldn’t risk running into some friend who’d accidentally give the game away, so she led the senior to a windswept plateau nestled high amidst the conurbation’s upper strata, where was an out-of-the way park. Once there she stood and surveyed Flashfrond, he having told her that that was his name.
