“What the hell was that?” Lisa asked, bereft of all vigor.

“We should’ve gone further…..” Entrepreneur Paul mentioned.

“We did what was right. We talked it out and discussed ideas,” Loreen reminded them.

They all sat around Lisa’s table in her condominium. The light from her overhead lamp alleviated some of Entrepreneur Paul and Lisa’s worries. Its shine made it possible for them to reap at least some piece of sanity.

“Six rioters were hurt. Two cops received injuries. It could’ve been much worse,” Loreen pointed out furthermore.

“I hear you, Lor,’ but they’re not going to stop. There’re going to be more trespasses against private property. We just have to keep our heads and smarten up. We have the answer, now all we have to do is show our work.”

Lisa and Entrepreneur nodded their heads in recognition of Loreen’s words. Entrepreneur Paul lifted his Scotch to his lips.

“Don’t worry. I can get on the chopper,” he announced.

“Yes, but can you ride it?”

He nodded his head quickly. “Yes, I’ve got this.”

The two ladies waved their hands. The sound of Atkinson’s motorcycle bounced off the building and traveled up to Lisa’s condo.

The two smiled. “He’ll be alright,” Lisa remarked. “I can say something that took place in the last few hours….” Lisa continued. Loreen perked up.

“I think if the Collectivists are going to be a problem, they have to solve it themselves.”

“I agree. The police are here to protect us against the ones who hurt their own. It’s like we have to protect them as well.”

“Yes, not with guns but with our dollars. They are among the three agencies that deserve tax dollars.”

“Absolutely. We have to be aware of the time and money we invest to fund the police.”

“That’s right.”
