There’s a way that the leaves swayed in the breeze. Almost ominously, they sort of slowly swished and then violently, wind tore through the trees. This reflected the state of Businesswoman’s mind. Loreen didn’t get headaches. Now, though, she experienced something close to it at her desk.
This meant she had a chance at transforming this current condition into productiveness. She summoned the strength to answer the call of the businesses yearning to use her acumen to save or enhance their firms.
“Simon…show…the latest graphs…please,” she struggled to get out amidst pangs in her head.
The digital office assistant showed the bars reaching to the top of the page and then tapering off into small, compact little stacks.
Loreen got up from the desk and journeyed into her bathroom for relief. She popped two pills for the pain. In a few moments, the gnawing sensation subsided.
She leapt back to her office chair and swiveled around to her desktop computer. The bars vanished and the screen looked blank. She didn’t panic, however. She just searched the dashboard for the bars. Nothing. Still no bars.
With her wits and a calm hand, she focused on making sure she could rediscover the graphs. She breathed. As she searched her computer she once again called on Simon.
“Find me the graphs for the Solid Cement Company, please,” she spoke with more clarity and confidence.
Again, the assistant showed the images of the graphs. More waves of relief washed over her. Now work. On a video chat, the CEO of Solid Cement appeared.
“What happens now is you try new strategies to advertise for larger contracts. You don’t want back yard sheds. You want skyscrapers. Remember that you must move on from the small stuff and advance to the bigger projects.”
“Thank you, Businesswoman.”
