Though she didn’t have the money to buy the dating service, she could found her own. She contemplated this act of entrepreneurship. Everything within her told her to start this new venture. No partners, she would tread down a new trail to an open field of possibilities.
With a stylus in hand, she mapped out the entire site within just a few hours. A few sips of coffee drove her to ever higher lofts.
Lisa ensured herself she could complete this task with aplomb. She designed every page. This would be more than her baby, this would be her adolescent, teen, adult, and senior citizen.
Various thoughts dropped from her brain. The hold she had on creating this new thing gave her impetus to invest time and money. A sense of euphoria washed over her as she sat in “the zone.” It was a place she discovered years before. This place permitted her the mental might to navigate through any issue and march on with the courage housed in the minds of the giants of thought who came before her.
The struggle remained. Every time she thought she had a name for the dating app, the idea skimmed like a toy boat on a stream. She got up from her seat. After pacing the floor for at least an hour. Her hands massaged her natural hair.
Then, the luminescence of a thousand light bulbs illuminated in her head. In the time it took her to conceive of the idea, she put her understanding on a pillar and leaned on it. The structure never fell. It, instead, bolstered her idealism and the name came to her mind. In this moment, she felt what mythological figures felt upon discovering the existence of human values.
“I will name you, Eudaimonia.” She voiced this.
