Behind a wall in the Breen mansion, a series of rooms appeared. Then, under a drop down floor tile, there existed even more rooms. The styles and colors looked brash and clean and bright.

Some areas showed the playground for the rich. Entire pickleball tournaments continued as Loreen led a tour of Tax Bracket TV throughout her home.

Loreen kept walking and the crew kept recording. Other rooms featured chess themes all of glass that looked like the pieces had been frosted. Downstairs and through another door, painters and sculptors chose to create representational art.

Again, she continued to lead the crew through a tunnel that looked like a huge, walk-through fish tank. Sharks scurried about with ease.

With her own sense of aplomb, Loreen kept going until she came to a room with a note in the mantle of the fireplace.

She read it aloud. “‘We’re getting closer to ending you.’”

Ralph Bellingham remarked, Mrs. Breen, we can edit out this section.”

“No, keep it. I know who it was, but someone who frequents this home is liable. I’m going to find out about them and sever all ties.”

“Again Businesswoman I implore—”

“No. Like I said…I will find the miscreant and make them grovel. The Collectivists must’ve paid one of my patrons to do this.” Loreen neatly folded the letter and placed it in her back jeans pocket.

“Shall we continue with the tour? There’s a few rooms left.” Her mind, however lingered to the letter that she discovered. She wasn’t afraid or agitated. She just felt concerned. While she led the six or seven people through her home, she knew she could turn that agitation into frustration for enemies.

A smile colored her face. Her tone in addressing the camera remained present. She held the thought firmly.

Loreen is steadfast in her business and pushes forward 🌹🌹🌹

  • This chapter was so intriguing — the shifting rooms, secret notes, and hidden threats kept the tension alive. I liked how Loreen balanced composure and determination, turning unease into quiet strength. A sharp and suspenseful installment!
