Fires blazed on the range. Lisa Conway’s chef André fixed her dinner. The penne ala vodka had been made al dente and the sauce seemed to be hearty. She had moved onto a salad with equal measures of grace and proper etiquette.

Lisa hung her head. She had just inked a deal to make her a billionaire, but she felt little to no joy in trying to increase her net worth. She would have to study, learn, and understand her role in this rocket deal.

In a sense, she felt depressed but knew it appeared to not be clinical. This seemed to be an acute melancholia. André cleaned up his work area.

“Enjoy your evening, Miss Conway.”

“Thanks again, the salad and the pasta were superb.”

He left. Lisa rose to her feet and walked around the space like a ballerina commanding a stage. Every step seemed to boost her mood, if only fleetingly. Her slim figure twirled around and seemed like a master dancer.

The idea of her being part of the three comma club enticed her and frightened her somehow. She took the investment seriously. It brought her to a level of thought that no other part of her day satisfied. Her pirouettes looked like a tiny dancer in a music box.

What clanged in her mind remained the fact she trailed in age and wisdom her partners. Loreen felt the stinging bite of not being able to keep up with them and to offer her own bits of knowledge.

What propelled her to continue to be the investor she knew how to relate to the support that Businesswoman and Entrepreneur Paul provided. She knew in her mind that Loreen and Atkinson knew that they had become the triumvirate of greed. She rested from her ballet moves coolly.
