Businesswoman Chapter 171

Fuerza

By Skyler SaundersPublished 7 months ago 1 min read

After finishing another course, Loreen took it upon herself to take a spin in one of her muscle cars. The need for speed kept calling her and she wanted to kick up dust and rev and engine to its capacity. She chose a Fuerza Cerro this time. With her own private track, she could race around the loop at speeds approaching two hundred miles an hour. Behind the wheel, she just knew that she would be freed from the constraints of laying out lesson plans and actually teaching courses. While she made a left turn, the thoughts of sketching out an idea for her classes continued to pervade her consciousness.

She shifted gears with ease, however. The focus remained on the road but she also considered the economic history of the nineteenth century, various models for growing wealth, and a link between the means of production and eradicating poverty.

As the vehicle purred underneath her, she changed speeds and threw the car into low gear and headed towards her garage. After adjusting the seat, clearing the mirrors, and logging how many miles she had traveled, she headed to the shower. The hot jets of water soothed her neck and shoulders. She kept her hair in a net and stepped with a blithe sense of owning her space. The ideas kept flooding. She wanted to get to a computer and enter all of these ideas in to keep the flow going.

Once she dressed, she found herself in her study. At her desktop, she dumped all the data that filled up her mind into the computer. The challenge now lay in remembering every detail, every scrap of an idea and putting it forth into the digital atmosphere.

With struggle came the possibility she could do this and do it with excellence.

Loreen's car rides sound intense. I can relate to getting ideas while driving. Dumping them in the computer later is key.
