Loreen Breen looked at her diamond encrusted smartwatch. She figured enough time remained in the day for her to better understand the roles the Individualists played. Atkinson could be trusted with his spitfire way of delivering a message. Lisa’s slow, methodical way of executing an idea still amazed her. After her speech, she soaked her face in ice water. She could hear both of her partners address the crowd in a Q&A portion she opted not to participate in that day.

Once she toweled off her face, she could feel the bite of the iciness and the warmth of the towel tussle with each other. Applause then resounded from around the corner. Though muffled, Loreen could tell the enthusiasm and raw excitement of the crowd. She exited her dressing room.

Then, she heard chants for “Loreen! Loreen!” Upon her return to the stage, she waved and smiled. Like a little kitten relishing its own existence, she bowed and pointed her hands at Atkinson and Lisa. Even more cheers, whistles, and shouts lifted up to the rafters. Someone gave Loreen a mic.

“Thank you all so much my little selfless, unselfish, sacrificial lambs,” she smiled at her ironic statement. More whoos and hollers followed.

“I wasn’t going to come out here, but out of sheer altruism, I had to give myself away,” she mentioned. More applause accompanied this line along with hearty, genuine laughs.

“My colleagues, my friends, know how to put on a show, no?”

“Yes!”

“We thank you all for your support and the fact that all of you have chosen to become not mindless followers, but engaging, active participants in the revolution of the mind. We just are so overwhelmed with gratitude, that we will always remember that it’s an improvement on the design of liberty we craft.”
