Businesswoman Chapter 133

Dynamo

By Skyler SaundersPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Some bottles of spring water sprung up from Atkinson’s stash. Loreen and Lisa, also in the mix, had been at the house for six hours. They came to a break.

“Alright, so if we do this properly,” Loreen remarked, “we’re going to have Thirty-three million between us plus a bonus two million for this unique presentation.”

“That’s right,” chimed Atkinson. “This is going to be a joint effort where all of us will be able to convey the same message, on the same stage, while maintaining our individual stances.”

Lisa didn’t look right. “Do you think we should go separately?”

“Of course not!” Atkinson fired back.

“No, Lisa,” Loreen assured. “We’ve got this. We’re smoothing out the rough edges and making a bold promise to ourselves that we can command that stage.”

Lisa looked up from her notes and pages that she had underlined, crossed out, and circled.

“It’s going to be somewhat revolutionary. Most of the time, you just get one speaker on stage, and I’m all for that. But with the three of us, we’ll be a dynamo.”

“A dynamic trio, if you will allow,” Loreen championed Atkinson.

Lisa perked up a bit. She looked down at her mobile device which served as a paperweight for her ideas.

“Okay, I’m all about it,” Lisa breathed.

“But just to make sure, you do know that this is not some collectivist ploy to dampen your individual speech, right?” Atkinson asked.

“Of course. We’re all on the page here and we’ll be on the stage soon in order to show the power of three.”

Loreen sipped some water. “I think she’s got it, Paul. Look at her…this young thing with a mind of platinum and diamonds…you added to our duo makes a triumvirate and it is all the more special.”

“Yes.”
