SARADA AND SUN GODDES

Boruto TBV is more thrilling than ever, especially after releasing what is considered the best chapter so far. Chapter 21 focused on the battle in the Land of Wind, where we finally witnessed Sarada Uchiha's first MS ability. While her second ability remains a mystery, we received hints it might involve time manipulation or another spatial ability. Before you leave this video, let me explain. But first, we need to understand her initial MS ability.

Sarada's First Ability: Ōhirume.

Ōhirume no Muchi no Kami, or Ōhirume for short, is another name for Amaterasu, the Japanese goddess of the sun and ruler of the heavens. Amaterasu is a central figure in Shinto mythology, revered as the chief deity of the Shinto pantheon. In myth, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, the moon god, were born when Izanagi purified himself by bathing in the sea after escaping the underworld. Amaterasu emerged from Izanagi's left eye, while Tsukuyomi was born from his right.

Sarada Uchiha: The Heavenly Flames of Ōhirume Reborn

Ōhirume is described as a fierce woman with pitch-black hair, possibly darker than her siblings', wearing flaming red colors that conceal darkness, with "Heavenly Flames" dancing under the night sky. This imagery suggests a connection to fire, intensity, and perhaps a duality of light and darkness. Sarada, as an Uchiha, inherits traits that symbolically align with this description.

Sarada has the signature black hair of the Uchiha clan, much like Ōhirume's pitch-black hair. The Uchiha are known for their intense, fiery nature—emotionally and through their fire-based jutsu affinity. This mirrors Ōhirume's fierceness and the "flaming" aspect of her appearance. The "flaming red colors" Ōhirume wore could symbolize Sarada's Sharingan, the Uchiha clan's kekkei genkai. The Sharingan's red hue with black tomoe evokes fiery intensity and power. When activated, Sarada's Sharingan enhances her perception, strength, and ability to use powerful techniques, paralleling the "Heavenly Flames" as a source of brilliance and energy in the dark.

The "darkness" hidden by Ōhirume's flaming red colors might represent Sarada's ability to channel her inner struggles and the Uchiha clan's tragic history into strength. Sarada often grapples with her identity and her clan's legacy, yet she rises above it, much like how Ōhirume's flames shine against the night sky. Her potential to use Fire Release techniques, combined with her Sharingan, could be seen as her "Heavenly Flames"—a fiery power that stands out in the metaphorical darkness of her challenges. The "Heavenly Flames dancing bright under the night sky" could metaphorically point to Sarada's untapped potential. As a prodigy, Sarada has shown exceptional skill in ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu. If she were to develop a unique fire-based ability or a new Sharingan technique (like Amaterasu, the black flames associated with the Uchiha), it could directly parallel Ōhirume's fiery imagery. Amaterasu, in particular, is tied to the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu-Ōmikami (also known as Ōhirume), reinforcing the mythological connection.

Sarada's Power and Potential

Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess, possesses powers related to light, heat, and her divine nature as a deity. She can control the sun, create and manipulate stars, and even manipulate time.

Amaterasu can manipulate black and white holes, similar to Sarada's Ōhirume ability. Sarada's other ability might be related to time or light manipulation. We know black holes are massive, capable of bending space-time fabric and slowing time—though this is purely theoretical.

Interestingly enough, Sarada's Ōhirume also hints at the potential of her second MS ability. Typically, MS abilities come in pairs. Sarada's other ability might be Amaterasu, further enhancing the Sun Goddess portrayal of Sarada Uchiha and making her an even more emphatic character. As she continues to grow, fans will see more Sun Goddess parallels with Sarada, which makes readers all the more excited.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 is set for its official release on May 20, 2025. The release time of the chapter is 10 AM EST/ 3 PM UTC. As always, fans can read the chapter officially for free on the Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump apps.
