Let me show you!
What I have seen; I am afraid to show you.
Like a forbidden truth, I’m scared to speak it aloud.
But please; let me show you,
for words fall apart around it,
and language is too small to carry its weight.
Let me try, but don’t judge me; just hold my hand.
-
It is scary, as scary as it gets.
I want to show you, though I have already regretted it.
Just hold my hand; do not turn your back.
It may seem that I do not need it,
but I am small before all of this.
Let me show you, and do not judge me; no matter what you see.
-
Did you see?
The clouds grow darker, the winds grow stronger.
It feels as though it knows it is no longer hidden;
that eyes are finally upon it.
Unfaced as it is, its dominance expands.
I can only show you, though I cannot explain.
Open your eyes; do not be afraid. What can it really do?
-
Here it is; see what I have seen,
Perhaps then you will understand why I am the way I am, and how I came to be.
Nothing can be changed; eternity remains.
Let me try; do not judge me... just hold my hand.
-
I still cannot tell,
if this is something everyone has seen, or if it is mine alone to carry.
What would you gain from asking? Only opinions shaped by other shadows.
I still cannot decide if it is a prison of the mind I see, or a boundless freedom of the soul.
No one can tell me; sometimes not even myself.
I can only show you; though I cannot describe.
-
Open your eyes; do not be afraid. What can it really do, once seen?
Let me show you! But do not judge me; no matter what you see!
