Main characters' names are all exit signs on the interstates:

Jemison Thorsby – Show runner, talent, dead people talk to him, whether he likes it or not

Kimberly Morrison – executive producer, intelligent, no nonsense, skeptic, keeps the show running smoothly

Devon Richwood – PA, a bit distracted by, well anything, but loves the work and does a good job, eventually

Corbin Woodbine – investigator, talent, Devon is his sidekick, and Corbin encouraging Devon's creative tangents

Walton Kensington - jazz musician, circa 1890s, life of the party, stylish, maybe a little vain, especially for a ghost

Grace Garland - psychic, does not tolerate foolishness, very direct, but witty and sharp, Jemison suspects there is more to her that the usual charlatans

Sheila Morrison - Kimberly's mother, kind, intelligent, determined, and has a flirty thing going on with Jemison
