A Booklet of ReGenIsis
Chapter 3: A Rise

Orienting Commentary
Readers are invited to either:
1) read aloud
2) read slow and feelingly
or 3) read excerpts in multiple intervals
The 3 main departures from the source material, Chapter 3 of Genesis:
1. From Transgression to Initiation
G∞d invites humanity to eat the fruit. Eating the fruit is an initiation to fuller awareness, instead of an act of disobedience resulting in exile. Instead of the "Fall” we experience a Rise.
2. From Adversary to Ally
The Serpent is not a villain, cursed with eternal enmity with humanity. Instead she is treated as a wise messenger rewarded with the power of flight for sharing a way to wisdom.
3. From Punishment to Praise
Every party is blessed. There is not perpetual sweat and toil with one day of rest, but a balance of effort and ease. There is no exile, only further envelopement within Eden. The people in this story live joyful in original bliss, are at peace with themselves, each other, and all life.
"We keep amity between you and them, and between your offspring and theirs; they see your wings, and you see their face.”

Chapter 3: A Rise
1 Now the serpent was as intelligent as many other wise creations that the Kind G∞d had created. A man asked of the serpent, “Did G∞d say, ‘You may freely eat from many trees in the gardens’?” 2 The serpent thought to him, “All may eat of the fruits of the trees in the gardens; 3 and G∞d said, ‘You may eat of the trees that are in the midst of the gardens, and look upon them, and you shall fly*.’ ” 4 And the serpent thought to them, “You too will fly; 5 for G∞d knows that when you eat of it your eye** will fully open, and you will remain akin to all life, knowing ease and effort.” 6 So when the man saw the Trees were good for life, and that they were a delight to the senses, and that the Trees were essential to keep one balanced, he picked of a fruit and ate; and he also gave some to his kin, who were with him, and they ate. 7 The eye of all were fully opened and they knew they were alive; and they focused and flowed with each other.
8 They recognized the essence of the Kind G∞d moving in the fields at the time of the dawns breeze, and the kin acknowledged the presence of the Kind G∞d in the clearings of the fields. 9 The Kind G∞d greeted them and thought to them, “There you are.” 10 They thought, “We sensed your essence in the fields, and we were moved, because we are alive, and we recognized you.” 11 The Kind G∞d thought, “You know you are alive. You have eaten from the tree of which you were invited to eat!” 12 They thought, “The beings whom we are with, reminded us of the fruit from the tree and we ate.” 13 Then the Kind G∞d thought to them, “The serpent has done this.” They thought, “Yes, the serpent told us, and we ate.” 14 The Kind G∞d thought to the raptor,
“Because you have done this, praised are you among many
life forms and among many wise creations;
in the air you may go, with the winds carrying you all the days of your life.
15 We keep amity between you and them,
and between your offspring and theirs;
they see your wings, and you see their face.”
16 To all kind they thought, “We maintain your heart and mind
in serenity; with courage you choose for
yourself, and you are poised as others choose for themselves, still you flow together.”
17 And to the kin they thought, “Because you have listened to the
voices of Life and have eaten of the tree of which we invited,
‘You may eat,’
praised are you as well within the space; in abundance you live within Eden all the days of your lives; 18 fruits and flowers she does bring forth for all; and all enjoy what is nourishing of the space.
19 By the cycles of the seasons all will eat ample until you return to source, from source you were created; you are light, and light you allways are.”
20 They called themselves Sentient Sapiens since they feel wisdom within all Life. 21 And the Kind G∞d is recognized as creator and recreator of Life and Light.
22 The Kind G∞d thought, “Yes! All Life are like us. Living ebb and flow. Effort and Ease; and now, they reach within themselves and find fruits from the Trees of Life.” – 23 Therefore the Kind G∞d keeps life fullfilled within the oceans and lands of Gaia, to live within the spaces from which they were created. 24 They guide ki^ within; and all throughout the Gardens of Eden reminders spring and the shining Sun provides guidance within the ways of the Seeds of Life.

Footnotes
fly* Some versions use ‘flow’ instead of ‘fly’. When in flow, many report a sense of lightness in the mind+body, easefulness in action, or a feeling of time being suspended. As if gliding or flying through time.
eye** Understood as the first eye, prime eye, or origin+all eye. What some traditions refer to as the ‘third’ eye. The pineal gland which exists at the center of the brain of virtually all vertebrates, senses light and dark to regulate sleep. And is considered by many a spiritual center for intuition and imagine nations.
ki^ Other translations use consciousness or breath instead of ‘ki’
