Temper Me is a beautiful romantic novel written by Alexandria House that revolves around Nalani and Lyle’s passion and race to heal and find themselves. Wooed against a culture and individualist-saturated background, the novel also embraces love forgiveness and redemption, as the leading characters find one another only to deal with their past.

Regarding characterization, House tells both intrapersonal and external conflicts as a captivating story in terms of the character’s feelings. Nalani and Lyle are not perfect but realistic and complex characters and the movie depicts the realistic portrayal of relationships and the significance of listening to each other and being tolerant and peaceful. It makes the characters more realistic and believable, the girl, who becomes a nurse or the man, who learns to accept himself and his sexuality.
