Pretty Woman is an old 1990 film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. The movie is actually a very cliche modern "Cinderella" Hollywood love story. Heroine Vivian is a street girl, one night on the street encounter lost rich Edward. Vivian led Edward to the hotel where he was, and was hired by Edward as a "companion girl". After a while, the two of them had a spark, but they both knew they could only be on the spot.

When Vivian was a child, she was locked up in the attic for wrongdoing, always hoping that a prince would ride a horse and climb up to the roof to rescue her. When the offer ended and Edward tried to keep her, Vivian left anyway. Because she knew that her situation was not as simple as when she was a child in the attic. Not surprisingly, Edward is still holding flowers, riding the horn of the luxury car to Vivian's residence, along the stairs to the top floor of the confession. Rescued "deeply lost" heroine. Of course, the end of the film reminds the audience of the dream: such a good thing can only happen in Hollywood!

The main reason why I like this movie is because of the heroine Julia Roberts. As soon as her big mouth opened, it seemed that the whole world became bright, and a hint of gloom could not be left. There are also moments when she's not grinning: when she hides dental floss in the bathroom, when she's chased out by a clothing store clerk, when she asks a hotel lobby manager for advice on how to use a knife and fork, and when she goes to the theater for the first time to see an Italian opera (she's wearing a formal suit from a postcard), every expression shifts the viewer's gut. I prefer to believe that it's just the simple childlike nature of the actor to play, to breathe the soul into Vivian's character. Nick and I love Julia Roberts, and her other films such as Notting Hill, Escape Bride, Mona Lisa Smile, Never Say Never, Eat Pray Love, etc., we review regularly, especially during the holidays.
