Today I finished reading the book "Kira's Memoir of Success" - Money makes money. A book written for children should be extremely easy to understand and adults should also read it because not everyone knows how to manage finances and make money grow like that.
The story is about a girl named Kira - who saved an injured dog in front of her house and named him Money. Surprisingly, this dog can speak human language. After learning that Kira's family was having financial problems and not eating or sleeping well, the dog immediately revealed his voice and showed him how to help Kira make money.
First, Money told Kira to list 10 things that made her want to become rich and then choose the 3 most important things. Kira quickly followed and the three things that made her want to become rich were: a trip to California, a laptop and helping her parents with money. After determining the purpose of making money, Money told Kira to write at least 5 things every day that she had accomplished and felt proud of - this is Kira's own "Success Memoir" - the memoir that will helps Kira become more confident. In addition, the dog also advised Kira to have a dream album. Dreams in written form are much more difficult to imagine than dreams printed out and seen in color and images, right!
Kira is a girl who loves dogs and takes Money for a walk every day. Her brother Marcel helps her find a way to make money: while walking her dog, Kira can walk a few more dogs. and from then on Kira had a monthly income. Since finding a way to make money based on her hobby, the 12-year-old girl's life has changed a lot with her business adventures. Mr. Goldstern - the former owner of the dog Money decided to give Money to Kira to take care of and meet him once every weekend. He is a very rich and wise man in money matters. Talking to him helped Kira clarify many good things.
And the most impressive thing to me was when Mr. Goldstern told Kira a story about a goose farmer. Every day the goose lays an egg. One day he went to the barn and saw the goose laying an egg. yellow eggs. After going to the jeweler to confirm that it was real gold, he was very happy and held a grand party. From then on, every day the goose laid a golden egg for him. But just a few days later, he saw that one golden egg was too small, wanted the goose to lay two eggs, then he quarreled with the goose and in the end, because he was so angry, he destroyed his goose. The moral of the above story is that everyone needs to raise a goose that lays golden eggs and not be too greedy.
Since then, Kira has divided the money she earns into 3 parts: 50% for raising geese, 40% for the two things Kira wants to do and 10% for spending. The reason Kira only had two things she wanted to do was because she was upset with her mother about how she laughed at her for being childish when she had just saved 3 euros and wanted to buy a laptop and go to California, so Kira decided to focus her money on These two things are better to quickly make them come true and prove them to mom.
After a period of learning how to make money and manage finances with the help of people around her as well as the bonuses she received while working, Kira was able to save enough money to buy her dream laptop. I wish, but the flight to the US is temporarily unavailable, but anyway, for a 12-year-old student, the savings of several thousand euros is too big.
Kira was invited to share and inspire students about money management. Of course, the girl was scared and refused. However, after re-reading the book "Success Memoirs", I wrote about the things I had done during the past (even the smallest ones) that made Kira much more confident, she bravely agreed even though she was still confused. a little scared. And that day also went smoothly, Kira was proud of her family and acquaintances, of course, it cannot be except Mr. Goldstern and Money.
Later, Mr. Goldstern gave financial advice to Kira's parents, making their family more independent and comfortable, reducing debt pressure. Besides, Kira also received help from Mrs. Trumpf - very good at investing in stocks. She helped Kira and her group of friends establish an investment fund and taught them a lot of knowledge about investing, while also bringing in a profit. not small at all.
Although this is a book about money management for children, it is really good and I hope that adults will also read it and don't forget to let your children read it, who knows, maybe this book will be the key. A guide to help your family change to become more and more prosperous!
