Broken crutch(Spoken over Successful Instrumental Drake featuring Trey Songs)
Broken crutch is a spoken word story found on page 13 out of my book, Before the world moves on, Published by Warrington publishing
My body craves rest on this silent night
the stars and crescent moon, shine behind thick clouds
my many thoughts flow at a rapid pace
Here, I lay another long night alone
the only time I ever felt at home
was in the soft place deep inside of you
The only time I ever felt safe
was while being held by you
calmed and reassured by your sweet caress
Your fingertips would glide
all around my shoulders to the nape of my neck
and end up buried deep in my hair
Sometimes, boundaries are crossed
and needed bridges are torched
and sometimes there’s just no going back
And we relive precious memories
filled with pleasures of good times
pleasant days and remarkable nights
To balance all the foul reminisces
distasteful experiences, unfair realities
and vain imaginations
Vivid, insane, and or graphic
as they may or may not be
