A Joy-Filled Review of Beverly Angel’s “Enjoy Life Now”.
Walking on Sunshine with the Spirit.

Reading Enjoy Life Now by Beverly Angel feels like a crack of light bursting into my mind, revelation pouring in fresh from heaven. As the words sink in, I realize my chest has carried a tightness I didn’t even notice until it loosens.
Faith truly comes by hearing the Word of God, and in this case, by reading it. And the fruit of it? Joy. Real, radiant joy. Even a simple prayer walk turns into an unexpected celebration. I grab some chocolate and a Coke Zero, open my polka dot pink umbrella under a light drizzle, and suddenly find myself skipping and dancing, praying in the Spirit for forty five minutes. It honestly feels like walking on sunshine.
This book is teaching me to crack the code of living out joy, not as a fleeting mood but as the fruit of the Holy Spirit. And as joy fills me, peace, her gentle sister, always tags along. Together, they turn my days into a 24/7 party.
What makes Enjoy Life Now so refreshing is that Prophetess Beverly does not present joy as a luxury or an occasional burst of emotion. She shows, with clarity and scripture, that joy is our inheritance as believers. Joy is not dependent on circumstances, wealth, or even our feelings. It is a fruit of the Spirit, something birthed in us as we remain rooted in Christ. This perspective shifts the ground beneath my feet. No longer is joy something I must chase or manufacture. Instead, it is something that flows naturally when I align my heart with the Word of God.
Prophetess Beverly writes with a simplicity that disarms. She does not weigh the reader down with heavy theological jargon. Instead, her words are warm and practical, like a sister or friend sitting across the table, gently reminding me of truths I already know but sometimes forget in the busyness of life. Each chapter feels like a nudge from the Holy Spirit: gentle, kind, yet deeply convicting.
One of the treasures of this book is the way it links joy and peace. Too often, we think of the fruit of the Spirit in isolation, love, joy, peace, patience, as though they are separate qualities we must juggle. She helps me see that they move together like a family. Where joy goes, peace often follows. And once those two are established, it becomes easier to extend kindness, to practice patience, to walk in gentleness. The fruit are not fragments. They are facets of one Spirit-filled life.
As I read, I find myself meditating on passages of scripture in a new light. “The joy of the Lord is my strength” is no longer a verse to recite when I feel weak. It becomes a declaration of how I am designed to live daily.
It is also important for me to say this: my admiration for Prophetess Beverly goes beyond her writing. She is, to me, a spiritual mother. Alongside her husband, Prophet Uebert Angel, whom I consider my spiritual father, she has imparted wisdom that has reshaped my walk with God in a short time. And it is because of her very personality, the grace she carries, her elegance, her kindness, that I felt drawn to read her books. I find myself inspired not only by her words, but by her life: her skincare, her hair, the way she dresses, the confidence with which she moves in the Spirit. My own mother is my number one mentor, my number one love, and no one could ever take her place. Yet I can honestly say there are very few women I admire after my mother, and Prophetess Beverly is one of them. I am even considering joining her mentorship program, because I know that learning directly under her guidance would be a privilege and a blessing.
In a world so saturated with anxiety, stress, and negativity, Enjoy Life Now feels like a breath of fresh air. Joy is a spiritual weapon. Peace is a shield. When we allow the fruit of the Spirit to ripen in us, we carry something the world cannot imitate or counterfeit. This book makes that truth not only understandable, but irresistible.
I close the final chapter with a smile on my face, not because every problem in my life has been solved, but because I feel equipped to live differently in the midst of it all. Prophetess Beverly reminds me that joy and peace are not far-off ideals, they are present realities, gifts of the Spirit waiting to be embraced.
So, would I recommend Enjoy Life Now? Absolutely. Not as just another inspirational read, but as a tool, a companion, and even a catalyst for transformation. If you are weary, if you long for a lighter spirit, or if you simply want to rediscover the vibrant joy that belongs to you in Christ, this book is a must. I came for encouragement, and I left with a song in my heart.
