Lord Aric realize that a head on a conflict with Drakoria would mean guaranteed disaster for his kin. He really wanted a methodology that would reverse the situation in support of Valsoria without forfeiting endless lives. Consequently, he gathered his most confided in consultants, specialists, and partners to devise an arrangement that could outsmart their considerable foe.

The initial step was to assemble insight. Aric sent his best government operatives into Drakorian domain to uncover their arrangements, troop developments, and supply lines. The data they brought back was important: Draven's powers were getting ready to walk through the deceptive Blackwood Woods, a thick and perilous district that could act as both an obstruction and a snare.
