Mix flour and salt. I always use cold butter to cut it and then make it with water. Chill the dough.

To prepare the cheesecake, mix the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla essence, and eggs at a high speed.

Place the dough on a flat surface, put the filling in the center, fold, & then close the dough.

Preheat oven to 175°C and cook for 10-12 minutes

Portuguese Pastel de Nata

If you like a sweet, filling, buttery, or creamy pastry, then you should definitely try this. I have tried this recipe for guests many times; trust me, it's enough to impress them.

Portuguese Pastel de Nata Ingredients

1 package puff pastry

2/3 cup sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup milk

6 egg yolks

1 cinnamon stick

1 lemon peel

Step-by-Step Procedure

Preheat Oven

For the topping, preheat the oven at 375°F (190°C). Unfold the puff pastry and put it onto a muffin tin.

Bake Pastry

Bake the pastry for another 10-15 minutes, or until the pastry turns gold in color.

Make Custard

Stir sugar, cornstarch, cream, milk, cinnamon stick, & lemon rind until the mixture comes to a bare simmer. Stir in beaten egg yolks.

Fill and Bake

Transfer the custard into the pastry cases and bake in the oven until set; this should take between 15 and 20 minutes. Let it cool before serving.

Tarte Tatin

In my list, it's the 2nd famous dessert that features caramelized apples baked in an upside-down tart. It's sweet, buttery, and incredibly delicious, making it a dessert everyone should try at least once.

Ingredients for French Tarte Tatin

6-8 apples (Granny Smith or Gala)

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 sheet puff pastry

How to Make French Tarte Tatin

To make a quick apple tart, preheat the oven to 375°F. Wash, remove the seeds, and cut the apples into large pieces; I use 4 quarters here.

In a safe skillet for the oven, sauté butter and sugar until the color turns golden brown and the sugar gives way. Place the apple slices in the skillet layer by layer and let it cook for roughly 10 minutes.

Position puff pastry to cover the apples completely, pulling the sides over the apples. Bake for 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown; serving suggests beef pastry cups with roasted vegetables or topped with cheese and served as an appetizer for a dinner party.

Put it on the rest for a few minutes, then turn it over onto the plate and have it warm. Happy with your yummy apple tart!

Italian Sfogliatella

It's also my most baked recipe. It's a Neapolitan pastry made of a thin and delicate multilayered dough fried and filled with a ricotta filling. It istricky , but making it from start can be fun especially for those who are passionate about pastries.

Italian Stogliatella Ingredients for Filling & Dough

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cold water

1/4 cup olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup ricotta cheese (drained)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon orange zest

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Step-by-step Instructions to Make Italian Sfogliatella

For the dough, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup cold water, 1/4 cup of olive oil, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix it well until it forms an elastic dough, then cover and let it rise for about an hour.

For the filling mix, ricotta cheese 1 cup drained, powdered sugar 1/2 cup, orange zest 1 teaspoon, and cinnamon half a teaspoon.

Spread the dough thinly as possible and divide it into lines and then cut it into cubes. Take each square and roll it between your palms into a cylinder shape, spread it with your hands, and put some ricotta mixture in it.

Create each one into the shape of a shell and bake at 375 F (190 C) for approximately 25 minutes until the color turns to golden brown. I recommend serving it warm, not cold.

Danish Kringle

This is a buttery, flavorful type of pastry. It usually has an almond filling, but I have tried it with different fillings. If you add fruit or cream cheese filling, it also turns out tasty. Basically, this is a Danish recipe.

Ingredients for Filling & Dough

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 packet active dry yeast

1/2 cup cold butter

1/2 cup warm milk

1/2 cup almond paste

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon milk

1 teaspoon almond extract

Step-by-step Process

In a bowl mix together yeast, warm milk, sugar, and salt. Allow it to stand for about 10 minutes until it develops a foam on top.

To the yeast-infused mixture, mix flour and cold butter. To the flour add the butter and mix it until you get a mix that has the texture of sand. Mix to form a dough.

Divide the dough in two and roll one of them into a rectangle. Apply layer of almond paste, sugar, milk, and almond extract as the filling for the pastry. Basically, this has to be folded into the shape of a Kringle.

Wait the dough to rise for half an hour. Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Let cool, then pour icing on top of it.

Classic Croissant

It is the most liked recipe. Its origin is Australia, but it is more famous in France. It was first made in the 17th century.

Classic Croissant Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter (cubed)

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 packet active dry yeast

1/2 cup warm milk

1 egg (for egg wash)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Dough and Yeast Mixture

Pour warm milk, dissolve the yeast in a bowl, and wait for 5-10 minutes until the yeast becomes foamy and rises. Sift the flour, sugar, and salt in a large food bowl. Finally, add the yeast mixture and mix to get the dough.

Mix the dough on a wooden board dusted with flour for ten minutes and then leave it to rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Incorporate Butter

Spread the dough out as thin as possible, forming a large rectangle. Spread softened cold butter in a thin, even layer between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it to flatten.

Place butter on the dough's center, fold ite butter, and roll it into a large rectangle. Lay it flat, fold it into thirds like a letter, then place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Doing the same process, fold the predicted area repeatedly to make three folds in the the same direction.

Shape the Croissants

After the final fold, roll it out, cut it into triangles, and then into croissants. Put the croissants onto a baking tray & let them rise for the next two hours.

Bake

Coat the croissants with beaten egg and place them in a hot oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until they turn golden.

Clafoutis

It's a rustic dish where fruits are cooked in a thick batter, similar to a pancake mix. If I write a cookbook, I must write It's a delicious way to enjoy fruit.
