You Think You Are Stuck? Here Are 5 Reasons You Are Not
Don’t miss those clues.

Most people spend their lives chasing the wrong goals, and they don’t even know it.
Life doesn’t come with a map, but it does leave clues. Some signs are subtle, others impossible to miss.
Being on the “right path” doesn’t mean being perfect. But in alignment — those moments when life clicks.
Here are five ways to tell you are on the right track. Even if it doesn’t feel like it.
You’re Excited — But It Scares the Hell Out of You
Sorry to break this to you, but the right path doesn’t feel like sitting in your favourite armchair.
It’s exhilarating, yes, but also scary. I call it the sweet spot.
It’s when your heart races a little, thinking, “What if it does work?”… that’s the sign. You care. You are alive.
Starting a new job, taking a leap in a relationship, or pursuing a crazy dream isn’t supposed to feel comfortable.
This January has been challenging for me. I quit my steady job. I have no idea what’s next. I fear the unknown but also sense the excitement on the other side of fear.
I know the best lies ahead of me, I am on the right path.
Growth lives where fear and excitement meet. If you are feeling both, you are exactly where you need to be.
Fear isn’t the enemy. It’s proof you are trying. Be proud of that.
Weird Coincidences Pop Up
When you are aligned with your purpose, the Universe plays along.
You think about someone, and they call. The stranger you meet offers the advice you needed to hear. Opportunities pop up out of nowhere.
When I was unsure whether to dive into a side hustle, I stumbled upon a podcast and heard: “If you’re thinking about starting something, this is your sign to just do it.” I almost dropped my coffee.
Coincidence? Perhaps. But I’ve learned to pay attention to those “accidental” nudges.
You Feel Lighter — Even When Things Are Hard
The right path isn’t necessarily the easiest, but it doesn’t feel like a constant uphill battle either.
Even in difficult moments, there’s a strange sense of peace. You’re working hard, but it doesn’t feel forced. You struggle, but it’s meaningful. You feel drained at times, but not empty.
That’s because when you’re aligned with your purpose, even the tough days feel worth it. You’re exhausted but fulfilled, not burned out and resentful.
When I started writing full-time, I had long days and plenty of doubts. But I never felt like I was wasting my time. That’s how I knew I was on the right track.
You Lose Track of Time
Ever get so lost in what you’re doing that hours pass without you noticing? That’s a clue.
When you’re engaged in something that matters to you, time bends. You’re not watching the clock, waiting for the day to end. Instead, you look up, surprised at how much time has passed.
This happens when you’re doing work that truly excites you. When I write, I often lose hours without realizing it. That’s a sign I’m doing something aligned with who I am.
You Start Attracting the Right People
Energy is contagious. When you’re on the right path, you begin to attract people who inspire, challenge, and uplift you.
The right people start entering your life—mentors, friends, colleagues—who push you forward instead of holding you back.
I’ve met some of the most amazing people since I decided to follow my passions. These connections wouldn’t have happened if I had stayed stuck in the wrong place.
