Oranges, berries, kiwi these are all great and finest foods provided by nature and they hold great nutritional value.

Fruits must be consumed on a daily basis.

But consume it the way nature intends us to and not the manufacturing companies or industries.

Anyone who says that juicing fruit is okay is trying to sell you something.

Fruits must be consumed in its purest and natural form. It’s luscious, juicy bite sized pieces must melt in your mouth and not squeezed under some machine which rips all the nutrients out of it.

Also not to mention it’s filled with artificial flavours, colours and preservatives to make it look more beautiful and increase its shelf life.

What mindset should be kept for a diet?

In response to your question, you have to be clear on a couple of things before you go for any diet plan.

1. What is it that you intend to achieve out of the diet plan? What are your expectations? Is it weight loss? Or are you dieting just for keeping in good health? You need to be precise in your objective. If the objective is to lose weight, how much weight do you want to lose and within what time?

2. Does the diet suit your body’s requirements? You need to know your body before subscribing for a diet plan. All diet plans are not suited for everybody. It is safer to consult a qualified nutritionist or your doctor before undertaking any diet as such.

3. Do you have the commitment to follow the diet? The # 1 reason why most diet plans fail is that there is no commitment. And once you get off the diet, whatever amount of weight that you have lost, you tend to gain it back because of the body’s withdrawal symptoms.

As we do with any other goal, the mindset has to be positive and once started on the diet plan, one should not give up the same in the middle till the desired objective is achieved.

Managing a healthy lifestyle is child’s play provided the mind is trained for the same through healthy eating habits that need to be developed over a period of time. The whole purpose of a diet plan is to control the eating habits either by either completely restricting a certain group of foods or reducing the quantity of the food that is being consumed.

The major reason why 99% of diet plans fail are because most of them are restrictive in nature and may not be suited for all body types. This is particularly so if there are comorbid conditions in the body like diabetes or blood pressure.

A diet is nothing but a tool to control the intake of the food in the body and in order to use that tool effectively one needs to understand the body’s requirements energy requirements perfectly and then apply that tool, rather than doing so blindly.

Once you understand your own body, things become a lot easier to manage by developing healthy eating habits where there is no pressure on the body’s systems and at the same time the desired objective is also achieved, albeit without much effort and stress.

Following this gives more stability to building a healthy lifestyle for the future and is more effective giving consistent long term results on the scale rather than a fad diet or a diet plan which when stopped, adds more volatility to the reading on the scale.
