Skincare is simply understood as skin care activities following a sequential and regular process of steps such as cleansing, exfoliating, using special products, essences, creams, masks, etc. These activities are extremely important and necessary every day to keep the skin bright, healthy, smooth and maintain "ageless" beauty.

Skincare routine is a regular daily skin care process by using skin care products to increase skin resistance, prevent problems with melasma, freckles, aging, damage, large pores, acne... Each person's skin and skin condition are different, so the choice of skincare products as well as skincare routine will change to suit each specific skin condition.

Depending on each person's constitution and skin type, each person will have a different skincare routine. Below are some notes on the skincare process for each skin type, specifically:

Skincare for oily skin

Oily skin is skin with overactive sebaceous glands, which can easily cause a greasy feeling and excess oil secretion on the skin. This type of skin often has large pores, blackheads and is prone to dullness and darkening when exposed to sunlight. Therefore, skincare steps for oily skin will note a few things such as:

You should wash your face regularly twice a day or maybe 2-3 times a day if your skin appears too oily after participating in outdoor activities.

You can also use blotting paper to remove excess oil from your skin.

Establish a healthy diet, avoid spicy, hot, greasy foods... to limit oil secretion that can clog pores and cause acne.

Skincare for dry skin

Dry skin often has characteristics such as small pores, slightly rough, rough skin and sometimes peeling and cracking on the skin. This cracking condition especially appears on dry, cold weather days. Therefore, some notes when skincare for dry skin are:

Always moisturize regularly twice a day, morning and night, with specialized moisturizing products for dry skin.

Cleansing products need to ensure a list of benign, gentle ingredients that clean without removing the skin's natural moisture.

Prioritize using mineral spray several times a day to instantly hydrate the skin.

Use mask products with nutrients that have good moisturizing ability such as: masks from avocado, honey, Vitamin E, Olive oil...

Skincare for acne skin

Acne-prone skin is skin that is facing inflammation, causing acne spots on the face and neck. This type of acne can be blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, papules, inflammatory acne... Skincare steps for acne-prone skin often focus on reducing acne and restoring the skin. Here are some specific notes:

Find out what your skin problem is, then find the right acne treatment products.

Wash your hands thoroughly before performing skincare steps.

Do not rub or apply too much pressure with your hands because it can cause the pimples to become calloused, broken, and even spread to other areas of the face.

Do not overuse cosmetics such as using too much cream or using many types of cream at the same time. This can clog pores and make acne worse.

Skincare for normal skin

Normal skin is the dream skin of every woman because of its characteristics such as balanced moisture ratio, perfect oil, healthy and highly self-healing and regenerating ability. Therefore, normal skin will be smooth, less flawed and always fresh and radiant. Therefore, the skincare steps for normal skin are also very simple, specifically:

Always ensure 3 basic skincare steps: cleansing - moisturizing - sun protection.

Exfoliate regularly twice a week to clean and nourish the skin.

Skincare for combination skin

Combination skin is quite “difficult” because of the convergence of both dry and oily extremes such as oily T-zone and dry cheeks. Skincare for combination skin is also more complicated with a combination of moisturizing ingredients inside and gentle oil control from the outside, specifically:

Perform basic care steps: Cleanse - Moisturize - Sunscreen.

Pay more attention to cleaning the T-zone than other areas of the face, but still make sure the ingredients are gentle so as not to strip the skin of its natural moisture.
