Growing your hair fast is a dream come true for many women. Unfortunately, there is no magic bullet that will make your locks grow as long as Rapunzel's. But there are really ways to make your hair healthier so that it also grows faster. Curious what you can do for a healthy forest? Eight easy tips to help you achieve your "grow my hair faster" goal.

Make Your Hair Grow Faster: How You Do It

Your hair grows about one cm per month and well, that growth process does not suddenly go many times faster if you follow these tips. Fortunately, you can stimulate your hair growth by keeping your locks healthy and causing as little damage as possible. In fact, growing your hair faster comes down to two things: feeding and caring for your hair.

Make Hair Grow Faster With Vitamins

1. How do you make your hair grow faster?! For your hair applies: if you are healthy, your hair is healthy. It is therefore important to eat as varied as possible and to get enough vitamins and minerals. The main nutrients are vitamins A, B, C, and E, folic acid, biotin, calcium, zinc, and omega-3 fats. These vitamins and minerals can be found in many foods, such as salmon, (green) vegetables, beans, nuts, chicken, eggs, oysters, carrots, and avocado. Want to make your hair grow faster with vitamins? It really helps.

2. And then about nutritional supplements. Biotin, vitamin B, and silicon are known to strengthen the hair structure and therefore also stimulate hair growth. You have hair growth supplements in the form of tablets and gummies. Sidenote: Hair supplements work best for people who are deficient in certain vitamins and minerals, and we prefer to supplement them with food (as described above).

3. Want to make your hair grow faster? It may sound a bit contradictory, but get your hair trimmed every once in a while. Your hair ends can split and the longer you wait to cut, the more of your hair you have to cut in one go to get it healthy again.

4. Don't wash your hair too often. The shampoo is made to remove all the dirt from your hair, but it doesn't really help your hair's natural oils. These oils ensure that your hair looks beautiful and healthy. Try to taper it off and then when you wash your hair, soap only your scalp. It is wise to use conditioner on the ends of your locks.

5. To keep your hair beautiful and healthy, you can use hair oils and masks. Apply a moisturizing hair mask once a week and distribute it all over your hair by brushing it out. This way every hair comes into contact with the product for a better effect. You can also use hair oil. Leave it on for ten minutes before shampooing or apply to towel-dried hair and rinse.

6. Handle your hair with care. Always brush it gently (especially when it's wet!) and don't do it too often in a tight ponytail or bun. Your towel is also a culprit. Do you always like to put your hair in a towel after showering? You better not do that. Your hair gets caught in the fibers of your towel, making it break faster.

7. To make your hair grow faster, consider getting a satin pillowcase. Satin is preferable to your hair because of its soft surface. Cotton pillowcases are more likely to cause friction, which increases the chance that your hair will break off sooner. Also, tangles are often the result of cotton.

8. And last but not least: avoid stress. Stress can only slow your hair growth and in some extreme cases, it can even lead to hair loss. So take your rest moments and get enough sleep. For example, have your scalp massaged because that is also good for your hair growth. A case of win-win, we think.
