It's not too late to SHAVE YOUR HEAD
Have you thought about being part of the Shaved Head Club?

It's odd how the protein keratin coming out of our bodies is a standard of beauty. (visual person - watch my video below!) If not thoughts below.
What I have realized, is if someone only likes me for my hair that is an odd and shallow reason not to like me...If they really like hair that much, they should go date Cousin It from The Adams Family.
One aspect of the stereotypical idea of women's beauty when I grew up was long hair. I would straighten my hair every morning in high school to achieve the long hair look while drying the hell out of my hair, subsequently thinking it put me steps toward the direction of beauty. I have spent $400 plus dollars for a single hair session that would maybe last 2 months and would have to be redone again to maintain the “optimal” look, whatever that is.
For years now, I have admired women that broke through gender norms and decided to shave their head. There are women out there that don’t choose the bald head and life dealt out circumstances that resulted in it. However, I still feel the same way if someone embraces their situation and owns it.
The change I have felt so far after shaving my head is not revolutionary by any means but I have had many comments from women saying they could never do that same and that makes me sad.
So I am sharing my thoughts to INSPIRE women (and anyone really) that has the urge to try the Shaved Head Club:
Weed out Bad Partners

I have been guilty of analyzing my outfits, make-up looks, and haircuts, thinking to myself, “Would someone still be attracted to me if I look this X,Y,Z way?. What I have realized, is if someone only likes me for my hair that is an odd and shallow reason not to like me. And ultimately a person I DO NOT want in my life. If they really like hair that much, they should go date Cousin It from the Adams Family.
It is Fear that is Stopping You

It may only be fear that is stopping you and fear is a mechanism to help with survival but having less hair on your head is not threatening your survival. So if you have that urge to do it, Just do it!
Save time and money

A more practical reason to shave your head is you have more time to sleep in the mornings or make yourself an actual breakfast because you are not spending an extra 10 to 15 minutes taming your hair. Another bonus is saving money on hair products, and haircuts (if you do it yourself).

No Hiding Behind Your Hair
I no longer can hide behind my hair and have to accept everything I see in the mirror, such as my asymmetrical face, random pimples of the day, pores, and scars from adolescent pimples popping. I am having a crash course in accepting myself and moving on with my day. I find that I spend less time looking in the mirror analyzing how I do not compare to the stereotypical standard of beauty, I see on social media because I do not look similar to them now. I am just me.
Like I said before, a shaved head is not revolutionary and society puts odd standards on what is beautiful. If you end up shaving your head and hating it, hair grows back.
