Natural Method

1. Hydrate yourself

Dry skin can often be a sign that you are dehydrated. If you do strenuous exercise, make sure you drink enough water. If you spend long hours outside, make sure to bring a bottle of water. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause skin to dry out faster, so it is important to replenish the moisture from the inside.

2. Increase food intake with high water content

You can create a diet plan that includes lots fruits and vegetables with high water content. Vitamin E-rich foods such as peanuts, ghee and mustard oil can help dry skin.

Here are some fruit juices that can help restore skin's moisture balance.

  • Tender Coconut Water
  • Juice made with cucumber and aloe vera
  • Watermelon/ Banana/ Avocado/ Kiwi Juice
  • Lemon, ginger and mint juice
  • Seasonal fruits

3. Face Mist

Face mists can be used to instantly treat dry skin. You can make your own face mist using 5-6 hibiscus flowers. Strain the liquid, and then add rose water. It can be poured into a spray bottle, and carried with you on your journey. Spray it every 2 hours, or whenever your skin feels dry.
