How To Grow Long And Healthy Hair?
Convince Your Hair To Grow Faster
I know we've all at some point wanted long thick hair since it is beautiful and all, but have you ever considered the effort takes?
Everything in the world needs care to thrive, and so does our hair. Consider it as a sensitive plant. You need to parent and water it until it produces fruits or flowers. Similarly, to grow natural hair that falls low to our hips, we need to follow a certain procedure by maintaining and avoiding certain things.
First, of all, be patient. Hair growth takes time and months, so prepare yourself and give it the time it needs to flourish.
Follow the following procedure for better hair growth:
1. Trim the ends.
Make this a notice for yourself every month by checking the ends of your hair for any breakage. Trimming gets rid of accruing damage and the split ends that end up screwing up your hair and preventing it from growing.

2. Study Your Shampoo Bottle.
Ask yourself, is it really healthy for your hair? Check to see if there are any harsh ingredients that may destroy your natural oil, hair growth plan, and hair follicles. Avoid things like SLS and SLES, parabens, and silicones, which are often seen as ‘dimethicone’ on labels. This can lead to brittle hair and breakage, and keep your hair the same length for months.
Baby your hair as much as possible. Don't shampoo your hair often, perhaps once in four days or so. Avoid any cleaning product unless you're sure it's healthy!
But, you can keep conditioning.
3. Avoid Tight Hairstyles.
Avoid scrunching your hair up in tight buns and ponytails, it places strain and stress on the scalp and often rips out hair a lot of hair. What the hair needs is gentleness and love, same as what your plant would need.
4. Stop Twisting Your Hair in Towels.
Are you still up to the trend, folding your hair in towels after showering and twisting it over your head? Well, all the twisting, tension, and fabric-rubbing on wet fragile hair are totally a 'no-no' for your hair growth. Simply, replace it with a microfiber towel or a T-shirt and lightly rub your hair with it. It's so much easier and lighter in weight. Then, use the natural air to dry it. Nothing more.
5. Gently Brush Your Hair & Leave it Alone.
Brush your hair when you truly need to, and be extra gentle on it. Whether you’re brushing, combing, or detangling, always start from the ends and work your way up to avoid breakage.
Avoid all artificial work on your hair. Stop hair-drying, flat-ironing, curling, chemically straightening, dyeing, teasing, baking it in the sun, and etc. The less you play with it, the more it will have the ability to flourish.
6. Make a Low Ponytail.
Put as less strain on your hair as possible. A low ponytail with two twists would put less stress on the scalp allowing better success in your hair growth plan.
7. Sleep on Silk.
Start sleeping on silk pillowcases to prevent tangles, breakage, and damage. Trust me, silk feels comfortable and soft too. It's time to try something new!
8. Eat Well and Relieve Your Stress.
If you’re stressing out about something, you send signals to your hair follicles and send them into the resting phase which slows growth while focusing on your other bodily needs.
Have some vitamins for your hair, they may give some nutrition boost, but don't end up depending your entire life on it.
Make sure you maintain a healthy diet because all your growth depends on it. It's the main source of survival, your food. Maintain a diet that consists of plenty of iron, B vitamins, vitamin E, protein, and zinc. Eat nuts, eggs, leafy greens, avocado, salmon, and cauliflower. An iron deficiency can also be the result of hair loss. So, consider maintaining a healthy diet. Eat red meat, dark leafy greens, and beetroot for that. There are a bunch of other healthy things.
9. Massage Your Scalp.
It increases the blood flow to the scalp, it’s also a type of self-care part that aids with hair growth. It increases mood and relieves the tension that has a negative impact scalp. Massage your scalp through circular motion if possible or gently knead it. Start at the front and work your way back. There's no particular procedure, just maintain some messaging time to give your hair some self-care.
Treat your scalp like you treat your face. Don't put too much pressure, and avoid physical and brutal pressure on the head. Message your head that makes you feel at comfort.
Add oil during your message. Olive oil is the most helpful. Advocates say it can keep hair moist and strong. It reduces hair fall, encouraging healthy hair growth and saving it from other damages.
