Hello all, are you like me mad for Lush to create an atmosphere that allows you to close your eyes and let your mind play out running across a bridge of fluffy clouds? Well today we have the Groovy Fairy Bath Bomb for you.

This was one I was given as a gift which I will be honest my dear readers you wouldn't be getting a review on if it hadn't been. I have never liked the snow fairy scent as I found it too sweet and overpowering. I am not opposed to keeping a gift in future with this scent thou instead of regifting it. Yes, I do regifting shot me, I would rather give it to someone I know is going to enjoy it then it be a dust collector or just take up room that is needed for other things. It doesn't offend me when people do this to me either, peoples needs and taste change. I ran out and this was the only one left when I rarely wanted a soak.

I felt the design was a bit basic but being one of the less costly bath bombs this wasn't the end of the world in anyway. The colour stayed pretty strong which is also nice to see in the bath bombs as sometimes they can fade and lose their brightness. There was a shock when for its size I feel like they nailed the dissolving time as sometimes they can had unnecessarily long or before you can even blink for such a large size.

I am still not a wild snow fairy fan and won't be rushing out to get a new set but it was a surprisingly nice experience. However, if I fancy a change once in a while I wouldn't mind grabbing one. The smell wasn't over powering as it smelled before it hit the water. The more subtle smell of the scent was more preferred. My skin felt soft after which is also a bonus as I can have quite dry skin. This seems to be due to the Persian lime oil which makes a nature exfoliator.

This unfortunately, is very perfume based and uses a lot of unnatural ingredients but with so many products that do focus on the bulk of ingredients being natural you can excuse this to a point. I do try to avoid such a heavy amount of lab based ingredients as it can cause me to get itchy . I can gladly report this one has not do this to date but I still would feel comfortable to select this one on a regular bases.

The one thing I love about Lush is almost surprises me the amount of knowledge I gain from it's use of natural ingredients where possible. I have to say corn-starch was not something I expected to be listed in a bath bomb but it works and means less chemical powers can be used. The power helps the soft feel of the experience which did happen.

I would rate this bath bomb a 4 out of 5. Overall, it a good little gift to yourself for something new and bright but not one for a regular soak. I would say it is reasonably priced for what you get but unfortunately just not for me. Everyone has their own views and preferences so I feel snow fairy is just a love or not scent. I am sure we will see much more of it with Christmas only around the corner before you know it thou with its almost marshmallow like smell.

If this review makes you want to give it a try or you have had it before an just love this particular bath bomb the link is available below. The price is £3.75 for the 95g bath bomb. (All prices, ingredients and weights are subjected to time of review.)
