Clay - The Secret of Beautiful Skin
Who does not want beautiful skin?
Why not choose natural care for your skin? Whether it's pimples or difficult skincare, or you want toned skin or more radiance, clay gives you a solution to all your problems.
An old method of beauty, clay has remineralizing, healing, detoxifying, and energizing properties, due to a large number of minerals and trace elements in the composition. It can treat various problems, as long as it is chosen correctly and combined with the right ingredients.
Different colors and properties
Yellow clay
Gently but effectively cleanses the skin, has a toning and healing action and stimulates blood circulation. It is suitable for both combination and oily skin.
Green clay
The high silicon content in the composition makes it one of the best treatments for oily skin: it absorbs and regulates sebum secretion, has a revitalizing, toning and regenerating action.
Blue clay
It is recommended for any skin type, because it removes impurities, softens, brightens, and whitens, has anti-acne, anti-wrinkle, and toning action.
White clay
Choose it with confidence if you have dry and fragile skin or fine and degraded hair. It has an important role in the elimination of toxins and regeneration, provides the epidermis with the necessary minerals, does not dry out the skin, and has the mildest action of all types of clay.
Pink clay
It is obtained by combining different proportions of red and white clay. It is indicated for sensitive skin, which soothes irritations and provides delicate care.
Make yourself the right mask
For brilliance
Mix a little white clay with water until you get a soft paste. Add a few drops of rosemary essential oil (especially if your skin is oily) and spread it all over your face in a uniform layer. After 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until you remove everything.
For blackheads
You will need 3 teaspoons of blue clay, a teaspoon of water, a teaspoon of lemon juice, and 2-3 drops of rose essential oil. Mix everything in a bowl. If the paste obtained is too thick, add more water until it becomes soft enough to be easily spread.
To open the pores, wash with warm water or put on a towel that you soaked in warm water and squeezed very well. Then apply the mask on the areas with blackheads: nose, chin, etc. After about a quarter of an hour, after the clay has dried, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
For acne-prone skin
Of all, the most suitable is green clay, because it has the highest absorption power, repairs tissue, regulates excess sebum, and has a detoxifying role. Combine 3-4 teaspoons of green clay with 3 teaspoons of aloe vera gel and three more of water.
Mix well and apply on a clean face, using a spatula. After 15 minutes, clean well with lukewarm water and finish with the application of tonic lotion.
For tired skin
Make a quick mask of 3 teaspoons of blue clay and cucumber juice. The latter is added until the desired consistency is obtained. Apply on clean skin and after a quarter of an hour remove with lukewarm water.
What you need to know when applying a clay mask
Apply it strictly on the areas you want to treat: cheeks, forehead, nose, chin. Avoid the eye area and mouth.
If you have oily skin, you can use a clay mask twice a week.
Do not rub the clay mixture on the face, as irritation may occur. Best of all, spread it out using a spatula and let it work for a few minutes.
Wash your face with warm water before applying the mask. This helps to remove impurities and open the pores so that the mask can act in depth.
After removing the mask and cleaning your face, rinse with cold water to close the pores.
