Beauty Product Roundup!

With September coming to a serious standstill ahead of us (not every place has pumpkin spiced everything and not every Dollar Store has their 1 million and 1 Halloween decorations up, so it is infact, a standstill), I conclude that the majority of my August faves are coming to an end. They basically left with August and for good reason. Here are my "empties" (product goodies that seem to be wearing T H I N):

1: Peptide Cream—Drunk Elephant

This cream is a daytime moisturizer infused with peptides; which, not going to lie, am not 100% sure what that means (upon researching I found it to mean its infused with STUFF to help the texture, firmness, etc., of skin). But after using it only once, I immediately fell for the Sephora employee that pushed it excessively onto me: head over heels. So I'm guessing (post-edit paige= KNOWING) it's an overall good thing. It's so lightweight but instead of being a basic biatch moisturizer that leaves your skin feeling dry after many hours of use, this bad boy maintains its moisturizing barriere feel.

2: No. 9 Jelly Cleanser—Drunk Elephant

This is a cantaloupe-infused gel to foam cleanser that is the only one I've ever used that doesn't overly-dry my face at all and also sustains no scent. Which basically means it's a win-win for all my soap-allergenics out there (holla atchyo girl!) on top of being a lightweight cleanser that loses all the impurities at the front Dior.

3: Tinted Eye Cream—First Aid Beauty

This is a holy grail product. I'd say the only con about this is if you're used to utilizing a non-tinted eye cream under your makeup (because we all know deep down how our routines can eff with our heads all day) you should go with the non-tinted three-in-one eye cream that smoothes, depuffs and rids you of circles and fine lines by F.A.B. instead. But this is a life-changer for days when you want to just toss on a BB cream and some SPF instead. Personally, I use it under makeup and I'm SUPER particular with the change of routine: It's THAT good.

4: F.A.B. Overnight Eye Balm

Oh my gawd, I just—THIS! You will see actual results and wake up to a more youthful under-eye is all I got to say. It's creamy as heyull but not rich overall; it's the perfect oxymoron: just like the title is, an overnight eye balm. Let's be realistic; there usually is NO difference in day/night time eye creams—unless you're using THIS one. Fine lines dissipate and you'll have less under-construction under-eye when you wake up to make up in the morning.

5: Shisheido SPF 50

(Mine's the spray).

If you're looking for a sunscreen/facial mist/setting spray/eyeshaddow-intensifier look no further than THIS! Not only does its anti-aging benefits (it being SPF 50+ and all) sell itself, but it's another—you guessed it—lightweight product! It also helps that it's water/sweat resistant for all of 80 minutes!

6: Lip Overnight Sleeping Mask—La Neige

This is like butter on zee lips! That being said; it's highly moisturizing properties stay on the lips night & day (I use it for a quick-me-up during a hectic day sometimes—gets the job done MUCH better than a Lypsyl). The one I have is the original; and it's at the very end of its days, which should say something to you. It smells like bubblegum and makes your lips SHINE like it too!

They have a variation of new 'flavours' since its blow up this year: Now, they also have vanilla, apple-lime, and even grapefruit.

7: Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense SPF 30—Drunk Elephant

The PERFECT three-in-one BB cream/SPF/tinted moisturizer for any occasion! I usually do full-face makeup looks these days, but let's start off by stating the obvious—sometimes, you're in NO mood whatsoever. This will kill it in the confidence department when you have those days—making you DEW more; it's long-lasting & it gives you the tiniest hit of a sunkissed-glow!
