9 Shocking Beauty Trends
The Internet is a wonderful place, and here are nine beauty trends that were ridiculously trending.

Beauty trends come and go. The good ones stay, the bad one vanish and leave those who tried them wishing they never did upload that photo on their Instagram. So here are the list of beauty trends that are silly and were taken a little bit too far.
Nose Hair Extensions

Apparently this trend was started back in 2017 by this Instagram user GretChen Chen. This beauty trend had people sticking fake eyelashes extensions on the opening of their nostrils. Why? Well, I guess for extra safety precautions. Especially, on this hazy weather in Southeast Asia.
Vagina Nails

Another trend that started in 2017 and it's a bit NSFW. The trendsetter, Asa Bree, said that it's a female body part, and she doesn't think it's anything to be ashamed of. Personally, I think some of these vulva nails are pretty impressive, but some, like the clits, tits and dicks nails, are a bit too much.
Wavy Brows

We're not done with 2017 okay. Started by a famous blogger Promise Tamang, this is the trend for those who are tired of being basic. With Halloween coming soon, maybe the brows will suit Slytherin-themed witches. On our way to greatness fellow Slytherins!
Pimple Nails

If you love Dr. Pimple Popper's videos, these are for you. Natasha Lee, who is also the trendsetter for Fidget Spinner nails, came up with this nails trend that you can pop! This is just gross and I have no idea why in the world is this trending.
Glitter Beards

I was not aware that this was a thing! This trend was started by The Gay Beards all the way back in 2015 and they have been decorating their beards with all sorts of things to this day. Sprinkles, Legos, candies, ribbons, and even Fruit Loops! The possibilities are really endless with beards.
Furry Nails

This was started by Jan Arnold back in 2016 at the Libertine fall/winter runway show. If you're the bold type, this trend will definitely make people look twice at you and your nails. At least when people ask what is that on your nails, it's not as awkward as telling them it's a vagina.
Rainbow Teeth

For those with perfect teeth and missed their chances to wear colourful braces, you can now purchase an invention called tooth polish by CHRŌM.
After all, makeup isn’t for fitting in, it’s for standing out (CHRŌM,2018).
Their products are being sold in a single bottle, Pro Packs and Vibe Kit. Depending on your mood, you can choose from normal shades to glitters and even glow in the dark toothpolish!
Fishtails Brows

Just in time for Halloween and the new Maleficent movie! I think wearing the headgear would be a bit too much, so why not fishtails eyebrows. It became a thing after Stefan James posted an edited picture of Huda Kattan, the founder of Huda Beauty, and she reposted it on her Instagram.
Fake Speckles with Henna

Personally, I think this is a bad idea since henna is a semi-permanent dye and if you wrongly apply it on your face or smudge it, you'll end up with that face for quite some time. Also, if you used the wrong colour, it will look like a kid just drew a lot of dots on your face with a red marker. If you don't believe me, you can ask YouTuber Naomi Jon, who had quite an experience trying to draw fake freckles on her face.
Creativity knows no boundaries, and the things that the human mind comes up with are just amusing. You know what they say these days, do it for the gram baby!
