Worldwide Panic Show Growth And Fortitude With New Song "Break Me Down"
New Album Coming In Early 2025

Hard Rock/Alternative Metal band Worldwide Panic have released their furious and rebellious new track “Break Me Down”. It’s the first release from the Los Angeles, CA based band’s upcoming 2nd full-length album, which will be released in the first quarter of 2025. The song was produced by the acclaimed Bob Marlette (Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Shinedown, Rob Zombie) and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Hatebreed, Demon Hunter, Rob Zombie, Jasta). The track is a bellicose rant against authority figures and people in positions of power who try to break down your spirit and confidence through gaslighting and mind games.
“Break Me Down” kicks in with a middle-eastern toned sitar riff, and then launches into a sinistrorsal throbbing pulse that is driven forward by booming drums and bass that are buoyed by staccato guitar lines. The song will resonate with fans of bands like Rammstein, Bullet For My Valentine, P.O.D. and Disturbed, among others. The chorus is addictive and sticks in your ears long after the song has ended. It’s an anthem of angst and frustration that lingers after the last chords have been struck.

Lane Steele, the founder, lead singer and bass player for Worldwide Panic has been quoted about the origin of the song: “The song - like almost all of our songs - has a rich backstory. We were looking for producers to hire to work on our new material, and we were taking meetings. We met with a famous producer at a multi-million-dollar studio in Los Angeles. We were told that our material wasn't good and asked "Where’s the hook? We were shocked because it’s staring you in the face the whole time. We left and simply said to each other "Why should we work with someone who wants to break us down, just to build us up again?" And then the song was written within the next 48 hours. We recorded the song with a legend, Bob Marlette. He and his family poured their hearts and souls into this track. It helped make Worldwide Panic sound bigger than I could ever imagine. The experience was great and I am truly proud of this track."
The video for “Break Me Down” was filmed at the historic Monarch Film Studios in downtown Los Angeles. The performance piece was directed by Andre Brown, and captures the raw and expressive emotions of the track – without being hackneyed or formulaic.
Worldwide Panic recently completed the recording of their self-produced 2nd LP, which was again mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris. Slated for release in early 2025, the album’s title will be “The Greatest Villain The World Has Ever Seen”. Worldwide Panic brings a unique theatrical experience to its live shows - their performances are packed with dynamic energy and excitement. Fans across the hard rock and metal spectrum find their music fresh and engaging. They have toured with Flaw, Smile Empty Soul, Hellzapoppin’, Mushroomhead, and The Convalescence, among others. The band has done several headlining tours in the last 5 years. Tour dates are in the works to begin in late spring of 2025.
“Break Me Down” shows growth for Worldwide Panic, and as long as the band continues to churn out songs of this caliber – we expect big things from the band in the future.
