When it comes to working out I like to move to an upbeat vibe to get the energy flowing. Like putting on “Fuck up some commas” by Future. This song is a great motivator and drives me to get moving while thinking about fu$&ing up some commas, lol.
However, I like to keep a variety of artists on my workout playlist. Some days I will be listening to Future mixed with Kevin Gates or Twista. For me, these artists bring an energetic feel to the atmosphere during my morning workout. Having a variety of songs on your playlist should help balance out the mood of working out.
During my stretch session I like to play artists like Jhené Aiko. She brings calmness In her voice. Like my stretching I like to listen to something more soothing than an upbeat tone.
Days that I take my workout outside, I like vibe out to all of the top Pop, Hip-Hop, Rap and RnB. I try to keep my playlist full of diverse artists because it brings different aspects of life from different cultures. Most importantly, its my way of getting in a good workout. My playlist will have so many different songs from all types of genres. I definitely don’t limit my playlist to just a certain type of music. Hell some days I might even vibe out to some country.
When it comes to workout playlis, I vibe with the mood and sometimes even just put it on Pandora and let it set the tone. A good workout routine will give a peace of mind and a step closer to the body you’re after. When I’m just doing a lil 15 minute session I’m going to go full on Kevin Gates. A particular song from him that’s great for pick up is “I Don’t Get Tired”. He definitely gets me going.
Another artists that helps put me in workout mode is Slim Thug. Being from Texas only makes it vibe harder. Songs like “My Old School” featuring Big Krit, “Talking Texas” and older jams like “Boss Hogg Outlaws” keep my playlist jumping with bangers. I love songs that represent me and my personality. In turn, gives more fuel to my energy during my workout.
Having a good workout playlist for me, helps keep the energy and pace on beat. Not just some dry boring workout. Great music keeps the energy flowing and blood pumping. So like my picture. I try to make sure I’m always getting the newest and latest hits. Recently Future and Lil Uzivert put out some new music that I’m definitely adding to my workout playlist. So if you’re like me up to date on all the new music I’m sure you’ll have a great playlist as well.
