This popular K-pop boy band has made a mark for itself as one of the most successful artists in the music industry. They have won numerous Billboards Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards and have had various nominations. This group consists of seven members and is also known as the Batang boys.

Kim Namjoon goes by the stage name RM or Rap Monster who is also the leader, Kim Seokjin’s goes by the name Jin whos is also the mentor/ vocalist, J-Hope is the stage name for Jung Hoseok who is a dancer/rapper, Min Yoongi the rapper goes by Suga, Kim Taehyung’s stage name is V and he is a vocalist/dancer, Jimin’s actual name is Park Jimin and he is the dancer/vocalist, Jungkook’s actual name is Jeon Jeongguk and he is the prodigy.

What is the religion of BTS members?

Fans of the K-pop group, know almost everything about BTS members’ life including their Zodiacs to their blood groups but the most obscure aspect about them is their religion. However, we have a few inclinations to what we think the religion of the members is.

Are BTS members Christian or not?

In an interview, RM briefly discussed his view on religion. He mentioned that he does not believe in a God and he says he in fact is an atheist. Suga, after a performance, sent out a tweet that translated that he was human and that he is a weak human who acts strong. That he realized he was merely a weak human being and even if he did not belong to a particular faith but at that moment he prayed and that his heart and emotions did not change even if there was an end, this was about a trip to Kobe.

Jungkook went to a Christian high school that conducts bible teaching and religious ceremonies once a week for the pupils. Even though he never commented on his faith directly we think this may have influenced his beliefs.

J hope most probably does not adhere to any religion, like many other members in the group, has not revealed his religious views and is most likely not religious.

Jimin attended a Christian or Catholic school when he was young and this upbringing may have influenced his belief system today. From all the group members in BTS Jin's religion is most unclear as he does not talk about it at all so fans assume he is not religious.

BTS’s original name was “ bang Sonyeodan” which in Korean translated to Bulletproof Boy Scouts, however more recent change in branding makes it an abbreviation for Beyond The Scene.

They were recruited by big hit entertainment, an entertainment company after auditions held in 2010. It took three years for the band to come into existence and become successful. Even though today they have a substantial amount of wealth to boast about, there was a time when the K-pop band was struggling to make their ends meet and they once lived together in an apartment with one room.

The fan following on This K-pop group is called ARMY which is short for “Adorable Representative M.C for Youth”

BTS performed in 2017 for the first time in America at the American Music Awards.

They were able to raise $1,000,000 in less than two days for UNICEF’s campaign to provide food for malnourished children. They are the most successful boy band ever hailing from Korea.

They are responsible for a $3.6 Billion boost on South Korea’s economy according to recent reports.
