Hailing from the small town of Sturgeon Falls, part of West Nipissing, Ontario, Ten K has gained attention for his emotionally honest lyrics, melodic flows, and driven delivery. Early Life
Brad was born and raised in Sturgeon Falls, a small but tight-knit community in northern Ontario. He attended White Woods Public School for middle school and later graduated from Northern Secondary School. Despite moving frequently, he remained within the same town, which helped him maintain many of his friendships while also dealing with the emotional changes that come with watching close friends move away.
Those experiences—of holding on and letting go—play a key role in the stories he tells through music. His lyrics often touch on the loyalty he feels toward the people around him, as well as the sense of loss that comes with time and change. That small-town foundation shaped Brad’s outlook and eventually influenced the raw emotional tone heard in much of his work.

Career
Ten K began seriously writing and recording music in his late teens, using his emotions as fuel and his surroundings as context. He released his debut single “Up Now!” in 2023, launching his independent career with a confident, hungry tone that would continue through his next releases.
In 2023 alone, Ten K dropped a series of singles that quickly built up his catalog and established his voice. These included “Locked In,” “About Time,” “Burn,” “Lucid Dreaming,” “Too High,” and “Fucked Up!” — tracks that explored everything from ambition to internal struggles. Songs like “Legend” and “Goat” signaled his desire to rise above expectations and push beyond small-town limitations.
In 2024, Ten K’s momentum continued with “State of Mind,” “My City,” “The One,” “Get Paid,” “I’m Lost,” and “One Life,” among others. However, it was his single “The Come Up” that truly broke through — gaining over 2,000 Spotify streams, it became his most-played and best-known track. It captured the grind, pain, and vision behind his come-up journey. The single “Megan Fox,” released the following year, earned over 1,000 streams and helped cement his status as a serious independent artist to watch.
In 2025, Ten K dropped his first official EP titled G10k NINES, a five-track collection that tells a broader story of identity, resilience, and ambition. Tracks like “Posted Up,” “Life Story,” and “If I Could Escape” added more depth to his narrative, while “9 Lives” and “No Miles” showed off growth in both sound and confidence. The EP marked a milestone in his evolution as an artist.
