Progressive Rock Group Night Wilds' Are Building to the Release of their Debut Concept Album

Chapters 3 and 4 in "Mother" and "Fear" Reveal More of the Story

The progressive rock group Night Wilds' is gearing up for the release of their debut concept album, the rock opera 'All That Should Have Been.' Following on the heals of the first two music chapters, the narrative heavy "The Curtain" and "The Show," the next two, "Mother" and "Fear," reveal even more about the story, one of a boy trapped in a cruel circus desperately performing for a madman ringleader.

Where the first to two songs are from the ringleaders point of view, "Mother" and "Fear" are from the boy's. "Mother" introduces listeners to the tender and vulnerable side of the story. Through a soft ballad adorned with delicate bells and a haunting melody, the song paints a picture of a small child in search of his mother's love and comfort. The evocative lyrics capture the essence of childhood innocence, longing, and the yearning for maternal warmth. In its gentle embrace, "Mother" explores the profound impact of a mother's absence on the psyche of a young child, setting the stage for the emotional voyage that follows.

Transitioning seamlessly from "Mother," "Fear" emerges as a stark contrast, delving into the depths of psychological turmoil and the haunting effects of abandonment. With a darker sonic palette and haunting undertones, the song weaves a tapestry of anxiety, fear, and the overwhelming burden of taking on responsibilities beyond one's years. The lyrics artfully depict the relentless struggle of trying to navigate a world fraught with inner turmoil and the suffocating weight of apprehension.

The raw honesty of "Fear" captures the essence of mental and emotional breakdown, shedding light on the inner battles that often go unnoticed by the world around us. It's a haunting exploration of the human psyche, evoking feelings of empathy and understanding for those who grapple with such internal demons.

The way "Mother" blends into "Fear" is it's own symbol of how these two circumstances are connected. When one doesn't have the maternal figure in their lives, anxiety and fears tends to follow. The two are interconnected in reality as they are in these two songs, truly underlining the storytelling ability of Night Wilds.

Beyond that, these two songs establish a vulnerability in addressing the complexities of the human condition. Seth, the creative force behind Night Wilds, masterfully weaves together these intricate layers of emotion and experience, crafting a narrative that resonates on a deeply personal level.

“For my whole life, I have been searching for that magic pill to make everything feel better,” shares Night Wilds’s primary singer-songwriter Seth. “This album is about making sense of that void.”

'All That Should Have Been' is an album of healing. Much like Pink Floyd’s The Wall, along with modern epics by Tool, Radiohead, and even Rage Against The Machine, it blurs the line between entertainment and enlightenment. The record’s thrilling narrative is viscerally enhanced by the project’s strictly analog ethos.

The concept album unfolds with cinematic scenery, dramatic turns of events, and literate lyrics teeming with metaphors, and painful realizations. Tucked inside this saga is Seth’s own story of working to emerge from darkness and addiction into light.

As 'All That Should Have Been' continues to take shape, it's evident that Night Wilds' debut album is poised to be a thought-provoking and emotionally charged masterpiece. It's a deeply personal album with a message of hope and a belief that we first must venture into the darkest caves to emerge who we really are. Seth says: “In writing this record, I wasn’t thinking how the album would be received, and no matter what happens, I am proud to have created a record that is truly authentic.”
