(V1):

He's a youtuber who’s got rules to live by,

But not for her; he thinks she should up 'n' die

He wants her gone, poof, she doesn’t exist;

Still she lovingly blends pearl with amethyst.

(V2):

And she will rejoice and celebrate,

And sidestep his unrelenting hate

By cutting glass and soldering a gem

Of precious sparkle to Ozma’s hem.

(chorus):

Resplendent in all her regal finery,

She asks, why does he claim sex is binary?

True biology has validity;

Please don’t use it to justify bigotry.

(V3):

She assembles Ozma with precision,

Each piece of her gown an assured decision

To place this dazzling crafted fusion

Into a temple of joyous inclusion.

(V4):

The perjuring youtube prof is hailed

For declaring we’ll all be jailed

For not using the correct pronouns:

He's lying through his tearful meltdowns.

(chorus):

Resplendent in all her regal finery,

She asks, why does he claim sex is binary?

True biology has validity;

Please don’t use it to justify bigotry.

(V5):

Sapphire pixies dance on her ceiling,

Reflections of amber soon revealing

With much fanfare and applause:

The Magnificent Ozma of Oz.

(V6):

Stained glass radiates rainbows,

While his slurs cast dark shadows;

He creates a world of shattered hopes,

But she will banish his false tropes.

(chorus):

Resplendent in all her regal finery,

She asks, why does he claim sex is binary?

True biology has validity;

Please don’t use it to justify bigotry.

(V7):

He spreads fallacies like wildfire,

He’s an evangelical boldfaced liar;

Yet she will rise as she always has,

Glittering up and out from the ash.

(V8):

Behold the Princess, Ozma of Oz,

Ever representing a noble cause;

Erroneously declared a boy,

Ozma persisted and found her joy.

(bridge):

XXXY, XXYY

Why-why does he say sex is binary

When it is more like quinary?

XXXY, XXYY

Why-why? Why-why?

XX, YY, XXXY, XXYY

(chorus):

Resplendent in all her regal finery,

She asks, why does he claim sex is binary?

True biology has validity;

Please don’t use it to justify bigotry.

(V9):

His fire and brimstone scorches,

As he rallies others to take up torches;

But she cuts her lines so precise,

Ozma glitters like rainbow ice.

(V10):

Copper curves and tourmaline lips,

Ozma takes shining shape and skips

The light fantastic, the glow that beams

Pure love, spinning truth from dreams.

(chorus):

Resplendent in all her regal finery,

She asks, why does he claim sex is binary?

True biology has validity;

Please don’t use it to justify bigotry.

(V12):

Carving glass, shaping her future,

Glowing jewel hues will suture

Her wounds while repelling the hate;

This window foretells her splendid fate.

(V13):

Topaz glimmer and emerald shine,

Her diamond wheel spins a spine,

a heart, a crown, hands and a face

for a Princess that they cannot erase.

(chorus):

Resplendent in all her regal finery,

She asks, why does he claim sex is binary?

True biology has validity;

Please don’t use it to justify bigotry.

Thanks for reading, humming, singing. Here's some bonus words for you:

  • Just wow....great song, great message and well deserved win

  • Wooohooooo congratulations on your win! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊

  • I cannot help but think that it is but evidence of a deep-seated insecurity concerning one's own identity that causes so many to feel they must lash out against others who do not conform to a conformity they themselves find so difficult to measure up to. Absolutely love this, Marie. Sing it loud, preach it strong!
