My top two fav personal playlists
Because "Nothing more influential than rap music"- K.Dot (2015).

Well, I'm finally beginning my 75th post and it's about a couple of my other creations that I'm pretty proud of. I know that I've begun my last few posts or so in similar fashion; but, I really don't know how to kick this one off.
Cannonball: I mainly got the idea to create the playlist based on artists collabs from reflecting on a previous mentor's profound words of wisdom. Something to the effect of that age old adage attributed to John Donne, "No man is an island."
Granted, he most def wrote those extremely profound words, among others, almost exactly 400 years ago; they're arguably more relevant now than ever. Another inspo: A random insurance commercial featuring the living legends Peyton Manning and Brad Paisley.
At any rate, I will now commence the crux of the matter: The playlists can be found on both my favs, Tidal and Apple Music. A trillion apologies Spotify, YouTube Music, and SoundCloud!
Mashup is almost evoking the "Angel number" 5151 with its 13 songs totaling 51 min and 52 sec. Sierra Sierra is also a 13 song playlist approximately 52 min long.
The featured image for Mashup is just a collage of the album covers for the first four songs of the playlist. Sierra Sierra's pic on the other hand is a random snapshot of some serendipity; or so I'd like to believe.
Admittedly, I haven't quite mapped out how I would detail the track listings. Also random: I just remembered that we're only about 24 hrs from some bars from a couple of creative geniuses who are largely favs of the Hip Hop community.
Back to the topic at hand: I guess that I'll just go tit for tat. Before I forget tho: The title and (very) brief description of Sierra Sierra are derived from the United States military's phonetic alphabet (Go Army!).
The first song of Mashup is Chance the Rapper's "Lost", featuring Noname (formerly "NoName Gypsy"); off of his 2013 mixtape, Acid Rap. For Sierra Sierra, the initial jam is Luniz's "I Got 5 On It", from his debut album in '95.
Seeing as the last sentence put the word count at almost exactly 420 (at least on the rough draft), I figure now's as good a time as any to mention that Sierra Sierra is all about ganja, grass, and/or gas. Also random: The nonviolent drug offenders doing time need to be set free like yesterday!
Records need to be expunged with voting rights restored too, while we're at it. But that's neither here nor there.
In any event, the second song of Mashup is "Diddy Bop" by Noname, featuring Cam O'bi & Raury. It's off of her debut project, Telefone, from 2016.
Sierra Sierra's second jam is "Am I High" by N.E.R.D., off of their debut album from 2002. It's featuring Malice, who now goes by No Malice and strictly makes gospel now.
Track three: "Forbidden Knowledge" by Raury, featuring Big K.R.I.T.; and "Good Times" by Styles P. Both are classics, if I may.
Track four: "Prove It" by Big K.R.I.T., featuring J. Cole; and "Gangsta Lean" by Clipse. Fun fact: Clipse was a duo of No Malice and his brother, Pusha T.
Track five: "Forbidden Fruit" by J. Cole ft Kendrick Lamar; and "America's Most Blunted" by the late, great MF DOOM (RIP). The underground Hip Hop world lost an icon last year, sadly.
Track six: "B****, Don't Kill My Vibe (Remix)" by Kendrick Lamar ft JAY-Z; and "Blueberry Yum Yum" by Ludacris. Straight lyricism on both essentially.
Track seven: "Who Gon Stop Me" by JAY-Z and Kanye West; as well as "High Lights" by Aceyalone. Nuff props due.
Track eight: "Kids See Ghosts" by KIDS SEE GHOSTS (aka Kid Cudi & Kanye West), ft Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def); and "H.O.C." by Kendrick Lamar. That acronym is in relation to catching a contact high, in case it was unclear.
Track nine: "Fix Up" by Black Star (aka Mos Def & Talib Kweli); and "Don't Quit (Smoking and S***)" by Kembe X, ft Alex Wiley. Where in the world is that sophomore album which Madlib supposedly produced??
Track ten: "All of Us" by Talib Kweli ft JAY ELECTRONICA; and "Mary" by Currensy. Dropping mad gems.
Track eleven: "The Blinding" by JAY ELECTRONICA w/ the surprise JAY-Z feature; and "Smoke To Get Sober." by Phony Ppl. Superb production.
Track twelve: "Drug Dealers Anonymous" by JAY-Z and the aforementioned Pusha T; along with "Too High To Riot" by Bas. Of course, Bas and Hova both rep NYC heavy.
Thirteenth and final tracks: "Nosetalgia" by Pusha T ft Kendrick Lamar; and "We Get High" by Logic. DMV (DC, Md, Va) area stay repping too.

Prayerfully, someone somewhere gets something pertinent (re: useful) from this post. If that somebody's you, then please think about considering a Like/Tip/Share, and/or checking out some of my other posts.
TIA (Thx In Advance). Peaceful Tidings.
