My favorite Song Playlist

Here is my favorite playlist on Apple Music:

Now lets dive into my top 3 artists in this playlist:

Let's start with Marcellus The Singer. My mommy introduced me to his music. He is a talented rhythm & blues country singer.

My first song I ever heard of his is Do Me ft. Boosie:

His lyrics is very real and he is such a good storyteller. Love the grooving country beat of his songs as well.

The songs I have in my playlist of his is “ Shot of Moonshine”, “The Letter”, and “Watch What You Doing”.

The next artists in my top three is Lyfe Jennings. He is a R&B/ soul artist. His lyrics are so real as well, and is very motivational as well. I first started listening to him when I was a little girl. One of the first song I heard of his was “S.E.X”, its warns girls about what happens when you become of ages.

One of my favorite songs of his is “26 Years, 17 Days”. Its in my playlist if you like to listen to it.

Other songs I have in my favorite songs playlist of his are; “Blessings” , and “Talkin About Love”.

And the final of my top three artists list is one of my all-time favorites, who I had mentioned in the past; J. Valentine (aka. The Valentine ). J. Valentine is an R&B singer. I first found him by watching an interview with Coco Jones on his podcast with Tank (another R&B singer) call “ R&B Money Podcast”. This podcast is so addicting.

I created a whole separate playlist with only his songs or songs he is feature on:

Some of his songs I have in my favorite playlist are ; “Get With This”, “Don’t Get No Better”, “Me on Me”, “Love Me” and “ The Day After”.

Side note: The poem/song I wrote “Stop Daydreaming About You” was about him:

One of the newer artist I have in my favorite playlist is Susan Carol. I am obsessed with her new song “Karma”. The lyrics are very relatable:

Another artist I recently found is D. Savannah. Yes! She is from my home town, and an amazing R&B singer. I really enjoy her song “ Don’t Miss”. Its very upbeat and very inspirational:

Another artist I recently started listening to is Breland. Breland is a country singer, but not your typical type. He love to miss a little R&B and samples from other genres in his songs. I really like his song called “Thirsty”:

I really want you all to check all these artists out and expand your pallet. Be open-minded towards listening to different genres. I have a mxture of artists from different genres, and different levels of artistry. Music is a big part of my writing process and my life. Everyone should have a soundtrack to their life. Something that gets you through your hard days.
