Love Yourself: Her — BTS Album Reaction
Diving into BTS’s Love Yourself: Her

So far BTS albums have been like treasure chests—i never know what I’m going to get, but i know it’s going to be good. This one? It’s giving love letters, dance parties, and a little bit of chaos all in one.
1. Intro: Serendipity
Oooh, I think I found Outro: Luv in Skool ’s twin! Because why is this another R&B perfection? Jimin’s voice just glides over the melody so perfectly, and the lyrics make me want to fall in love immediately. I officially have a thing for BTS intros and outros—they never miss.
This song feels like someone wrapped you in a cozy blanket and kissed your forehead. Like falling in love with yourself and someone else at the same time. Jimin’s voice is so soft and comforting.
It Makes you feel like you’re floating in space with glitter falling around you.
2. DNA
I’ll admit, I wasn’t obsessed with DNA at first—it felt too bright for me—but now? It’s impossible not to love. The chorus is very addictive, and the whole song just radiates happiness. It’s like the musical equivalent of running under the sun with your friends.
That whistle intro? Lives rent-free in my head. 10/10 for a concert.
3. Best of Me
This song is what pure joy sounds like. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to twirl around your room with no shame. The electronic beat mixed with the emotion in their voices just hits so right. But i feel like it’s the kind of song I’m gonna outgrow quickly.
I saw somewhere that Chainsmokers produced it so Shoutout to them.
4. Dimple (Illegal)
Tell me why this song feels like a flirty wink across the room. The harmonies are so perfect🥹.
It has me ready to book an appointment for dimple surgery ASAP.(if that’s even a thing)
Like, how am I supposed to survive without “illegal” dimples after listening to this?
5. Pied Piper
“Stop, analyze the music video later.”
Oop, are they DRAGGING me? LMFAO
“Your parents and boss hate me.”
Well, I guess I’m cutting them off because that’s a huge character flaw. Sorry, not sorry.
“I’m your guilty pleasure.”
Guilty? Nah. Pleasure? Absolutely.
But seriously… those *Pied Piper* and *Dimple* live videos should come with a WARNING because those body rolls? Unholy behavior.
Jimin's body roll at 42 seconds (not that I’ve rewatched it an unhealthy amount of times) 👀. Tae and Jin serenading each other with those harmonies, Zaddy RM’s verse that sounds like a TED Talk delivered by a man who owns your soul, JK and Jin’s high notes Yeah I’m deceased!
Anyway, judge me all you want but this performance coursed a tear to run down my thigh😩
This song is a declaration of war on my sanity. And guess what? I’m not fighting back.
7. MIC Drop
I LOVE a good flexing song.
“Did you see my bag?”
WELL YES, WE DID. And I see that bag’s full of Grammys and Platinum records. (Manifesting the Grammys.)
Every time I hear this song, I want to kick a door down. It’s a whole anthem of “I’ve earned everything, and you’re about to watch me win even more.”
8. Go Go
This one is SO FUN. It’s catchy, lighthearted, and a little silly, I wasn’t expecting the lyrics to be kind of deep. They’re calling out consumerism and “living beyond your means,” but it still feels like a party song.
Perfect for dancing around your room when payday hits.
9. Outro: Her
Namjoon really said, *“Let me break your heart gently with my poetic lyricism.” It’s like hearing someone’s deepest thoughts about love and self-discovery,like a diary entry.
I thought it was a really profound way to end an emotionally rich album.
Conclusion
Long story short: this album is a must-listen, whether you’re new to BTS or a longtime ARMY. Now excuse me while I rewatch Jimin’s Pied Piper body roll for “research purposes.”

BTS has certainly laid the foundation for their popularity, as this album well exhibits. They are multi-talented, always increasing their fame and popularity. Really enjoyed your piece - even more so because I listen to Korean music and K Pop frequently, too.
I'm glad you enjoyed the album, there are bright songs that I too thought weren't my style but I saw them performed live at concerts which changed my mind completely. Best of Me has some awesomely cool but hard choreo, and here I thought DNA would kill me if I tried it but Best of Me said hold my beer lol. On the physical album there is a Hidden Track called "Sea" it's one of my favorite songs by them, beautiful song. It's been top of my list of songs I want them to perform live for a long time now.
The entire album is absolutely so fun and loving. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and just like... got it. Not many people did because they are too close minded. It is bright in an unapologetic and absolutely brilliant way. It is also very very very illegal (Jimin damaged my sanity those body rolls in 2018, I haven't been the same 😭🙏). It is the first part of an absolute amazing series and the DNA MV is actually what got me into BTS. I recommend you watch Namjoon's speech at the UN in 2018 which came during the LY Era as it absolutely encapsulates their message and quite literally is the speech that changed my life in 2018
Wow, I loved your review 😻 DNA is oh my god, My fav 🙉😫 How many times I've said, "My fav" 😂 Go go and Mic Drop; 😵🙌👀
