Has your upbringing played a role in shaping who you are and defining your sound today? If your upbringing has played a role, how so?

Most definitely. I am an only child and both of my parents contributed to my love of music. Like me, my dad also went to college for music, and it is his biggest passion in life. I grew up listening to every genre imaginable and with a recording studio in my basement. I had access to most instruments, technologies, and a whisper room to record all of my ideas in. Constantly being surrounded by Jazz, Rock, Classical, and R&B from a young age allowed me to adopt my own unique styles of writing, not necessarily fitting into one particular genre. Listening to my dad’s Alicia Keys CD, Fergie’s “Big Girl’s Don’t Cry,” and the Fleetwood Mac “Rumors” record definitely influenced my singer-songwriter stylings. I am extremely grateful for the exposure that I experienced as a child and the opportunities that I’ve been granted.

How would you describe your sound to readers who may not be familiar with you?

I like to describe my sound as Dark Pop. My messages are often personal reflections/criticisms or me commenting on a relationship and its faults, which I’m sure are both relatable topics. My sound varies, but could be best defined as a type of Alt-Pop, Indie Pop, Pop Rock, or sometimes even a Singer-Songwriter type Ballad.

Who would be a dream to collaborate with?

My dream collaboration changes all the time, but probably Billie Eilish and to sing with/meet a celebrity, it would be Jennifer Hudson.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite foods are sushi and pasta, hands down - I could always eat either.
