LaRussell joins Super Bowl 60 entertainment lineup with game-day performance
The Vallejo rapper’s rise has never followed the industry playbook. Now, his hometown ethos is taking center stage at Super Bowl 60.

The Superbowl is a facet of the larger society, now. With the arrival of LaRussell, he has gone from Vallejo, California to one of the biggest stages the music showcase has to offer.
On his journey to the stage opening for Bad Bunny, LaRussell will be a great addition to the lineup leading up to the main stage. Green Day and Sting will also be part of the festivities. What is so amazing is the fact the young rapper came from the dirt and made something of himself. After his daughter came into the world, LaRussell chose to go the straight route and hunker down into a position he hated but provided a steady income after graduating from Grand Canyon University.
He brought the sound of Cali’ to the Gen Z audience while other generations have taken note, too. That’s going to be his appeal during the Tailgate Performance. He has a cool delivery and the ability to rock crowds with anthemic tunes.
Though not totally new to the scene, he is one of the youngest performers slated to make the audience move. He has chosen to become a better route while speaking on serious situations like those who fell by gun violence, mainly by police.
LaRussell has charted a course for himself to navigate with the power of his own talent. His greatness lies in his ability to switch flows and subject matters. Once at the bottom of the totem pole, he has arisen from just another rapper out of the Bay Area. He’s been able to push the positive with songs like “GT Coupe” and show his struggle and success.
The process he has made to better govern the way he conducts himself permits him to keep going. While he took a major risk in leaving a lucrative role to feed his daughter, he has excelled as a rap star with clever wordplay, thought-provoking lines, and a laid-back flow. Of all the lessons he’s learned, his own ego being his best friend is his biggest. It takes a great amount of selfishness and understanding to be so virtuous and ready on the mic.
He seems to be ready on “Days Like This” which recounts his journey from regular Joe to excellent hip hop legend in the making. He has a mind for investing money, too, which allows him to create new avenues to gain revenue. Now, at this place in his route to achievements, he has put out a body of work that is impressive. With thirty-eight studio albums to his credit, the man is a work horse and a show horse. His victories far outweigh any of his setbacks.
When he learned of the news that he would be playing the Super Bowl Tailgate stage, he expressed thanks for JAY Z but also to his team for rising up from the mud. He seems excited and ready to deliver a performance that is set to send him into the stratosphere. With the streams that will come with searches for his name, he will see more numbers on the DSP. His concerts ought to swell as well. He has the opportunity to reintroduce the Bay to audiences that have become familiar with legendary artists like E-40. The flows over steady beats make it possible for LaRussell to convey a message of authority and precision.
For this slot in the lineup to the big performance, he is incredibly selfish and thoughtful for achieving this beautiful platform. He has created a space for him to live on the edge of life and not fall off at all. With all his material, he definitely has cemented his placement in the pantheon of young artists who seek to blow up like an Israeli missile against Gaza. He’s got the juice for now and he keeps on going on the strength of his own brainpower.
Once he graces the stage before the game, he’ll be exposed to tens of millions of people all over the world. This will propel his profile to become even more amplified. His powers as a MC show his prowess on the mic. Let’s just see what he does adjacent to the biggest stage in the world.
