Jin “I’ll Be There “ Review

A wholesome king

By Cindy🎀Published about a year ago Updated about a year ago 3 min read

So there I was, all pumped up and ready for *I’ll Be There* to drop at midnight. I had my snacks, my comfy blanket, and my hype playlist ready to go. I even set a reminder on my phone—this was a big moment! My heart was racing with excitement.

As the clock struck midnight, I hit play, only to realize... it was still a total blank. I mean, talk about a plot twist! Turns out, the release was timed for midnight in the U.S. I just sat there like, “Seriously? You mean I stayed up all night for nothing?”

Now I was wide awake, slightly disappointed, and feeling a bit like a vampire who forgot to check the time zone. I’ll check the time zones before my late-night dance party next time. But honestly the wait was worth it because Jin did not disappoint.

This song is so beautiful . It’s got this rock vibe, but it’s still super Jin—like, warm and emotional, just reaching out through every note. It feels like he's saying, "I got you," and you can feel how much he means it. At this point i feel like Jin is the Golden Retriever of the group.

Listening to *I’ll Be There* feels like a warm hug from someone who knows you deeply and wants to remind you they’re right beside you, no matter what. It has this undeniable feel-good vibe. It’s a song that just lifts you up, from the first beat to the last note.It flows with a gentle, steady beat, calming and reassuring, almost like a heartbeat that syncs with your own. There’s a simplicity to it, an openness that draws you in and makes you feel like everything will be okay. The lyrics carry an unspoken promise, a reminder of loyalty and unwavering support that’s felt through every note. *I’ll Be There* doesn’t just lift you up—it wraps around you, grounding you with the kind of comfort only a truly feel-good song can bring.

The drums give it this steady, driving energy that makes you want to move—like, they give the track this heartbeat that makes you want to be right in the crowd, chanting along. I can already imagine that moment after the bridge, with a pause before the chorus, where everyone’s about to scream their hearts out. It’s got this live-performance energy that’ll go off when Jin’s on stage. Honestly, this song is just begging for a stadium.

And there’s something about Jin's vocals and the melody that’s just comforting and joyful. It’s like he’s inviting you to let go of worries, even just for those few minutes. You can’t help but feel lighter and just... happy. just flipped my whole mood from zero to a hundred real quick.

Which is something I’ve noticed with his music so far.

Jin has a special gift for creating feel-good songs that instantly lift your mood. It's like his music is a little pocket of joy you can carry around; as soon as you press play, you’re smiling. Whether it’s the upbeat rhythm, his warm vocals, or that lighthearted vibe he brings, Jin’s songs make you feel like everything’s going to be alright. He knows just how to blend sincerity with fun, making each track feel like a burst of sunshine. It’s become such a core part of his music style and brand.

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Jin and not talked about how happy his song makes me feel. His songs like *Epiphany*, *Moon*, and *Super Tuna* all bring this lighthearted, feel-good energy that just lifts you up. *Epiphany* has this powerful, self-love vibe that’s so uplifting, and *Moon* feels like he’s right there celebrating life with you. Then there’s *Super Tuna*, which is pure fun—completely unserious and meant to make you smile. He’s all about putting out music that makes you feel happy and light, and he absolutely nails it every time.

A wholesome king is what he is:)

I honestly have a little bit mixed feelings about Jin song I’ll be there. It doesn’t make sense. He should’ve made a ballot version of the song and made it a lot better. I love his songs. Don’t get me wrong, but I’ll be there is not that great. He needs to do better with that song, if you think this song is not that great check out I will come to you. It’s a very beautiful song about his relationship with army and that he was in the military.

Jin is characterized by keeping BTS united and in good spirits and he saids it in a reality show if there happy he too. Now he comes to make Army happy and I can feel it in every tune.

Exactly how I felt listening to it during my work breaks...comfort! I just wrote the same thing. I've been smiling all night. And being with him(and BTS) I feel like my heart is safe with them. This song, while not as unserious as Super Tuna) you can still feel that lightness coming through the speakers. I love him forever and he clearly loves all of us.
