Vocal readers, please enjoy our interview!

What inspired you to enter the music industry?

Irene Bellz: Wanting to bridge the gap between old ATL and new ATL I felt my music would fulfill that need. Being artists like Baby D, Derek Dashun, Kevin gates and many more helped me see that I enjoy making people feel the way they do when they make a song.

What are some of the most memorable moments in your career so far?

Irene Bellz: Outside of being around stars the fact that me and a few indie friends can put together a concert and have over 200 people show up during a pandemic.

What are you currently working on?

Irene Bellz: I'm working on a video for my single "Beautiful" and on more singles and videos to drop so that I can continue to grow my fan base, which I will then drop an album.

What must-have items do you need when recording a song?

Irene Bellz: Space, a great beat that no one else can have access to, sometimes alcohol and weed but not really needed.

What are you thankful for?

Irene Bellz: I'm thankful that before my dad passed away he was able to see me accomplish a few dreams that I wanted in life and that he supported my music. Also thankful for my family, a new relationship, and new friends that support me even when they don't have to.

What advice would you have for aspiring music artists?

Irene Bellz: Don't give up even if your close friends don't support you

What impact do you want to make in the music industry?

Irene Bellz: I want to eventually be able to show people of color how to create passive income. I want to show all the underdogs to never give up even if you're counted out. I want to bring back real music with a message. I want to get everyone out of depression mode. I want to show young people and older that it's never too late to be great or make money.
