Notes from the author:

Originally posted as a short piece for the "50-words poem Challenge" here in Vocal, then extended to a full poem and posted as version 2.0. Now with added notes to make it a song. V3.0

Although I am not a musician, I noted as much as possible to give an idea of the rhythm and sense for this piece.

In the line "If you think it's so hard to be a young girl", this can be replaced by "If you think it's so hard to be a young boy" to accommodate the singer's preference and personal situation, without changing the sense of the whole song.
