Heisenberg Marks 10 Years of Sound and Success With ‘Ghost Sequence’ EP Release

The renowned minimal house label, Heisenberg is set to celebrate 10 years of their groundbreaking music label with the highly anticipated release of ‘Ghost Sequence.” The EP is a prominent showcases of their formative influences and future vision for the imprint.

To celebrate this historic benchmark, Saktu - the label owner and lead artist, has highlighted one of the standout tracks from the label’s envious catalogue and further shed's some light on Heisenberg's enduring impact over the past decade.

First beginning as an underground club back in 2014, Heisenberg quickly established itself as a resounding beacon for unique music and immersive atmospheres. Since then, it has continually evolved into a highly respected label and global force within the electronic music scene. Over the past ten years, the label has launched over 100 digital releases and 20 vinyl cuts.

They are recognised for championing cutting-edge artists while hosting consistent showcases across the globe. Through a relentless release schedule, Saktu and Heisenberg have collectively created a sizeable mark onthe eectronic scene with their trademark sound.

The EP that is due for release features three expertly crafted minimal house tracks, collectively serving as a resounding testament to Heisenberg’s evolution and Saktu’s Production talent. Ghost Sequence perfectly reflects the label's distinctive sound, incorporating refined grooves, detailed rhythms, and atmospheric depth. "This was the first track released on Heisenberg is an outstanding 10-minute minimal journey—a masterclass in how Romanian minimal house sounded a decade ago. This release holds a special place in our history, not only for its musical brilliance but also for the unique circumstances surrounding it.

An interesting fact: I promised Little Hado a gig in exchange for the release, and we planned the event for my birthday in October 2014 at the Heisenberg club. Unfortunately, the club was closed before the event could happen. Luckily, some friends were preparing to open a new warehouse club around the same time, and we decided to move the party there.

However, just 30 minutes before the party was set to start, the owners informed us the club wasn’t ready. By then, we knew around 1,000 people were planning to attend. In a frantic hour, we found a solution: a small venue with a capacity of just 100 people. By 1 a.m, the club was packed with over 300 people inside and hundreds more outside. The doors had to be shut, but the atmosphere was electric, creating one of the most unforgettable parties we’ve ever hosted.

This night marked a turning point—the closing of the Heisenberg club gave rise to the Heisenberg label, and the rest is history.”

Regarded as a key figure in the minimal house scene for over 25 years, Sasha is widely respected for his pioneering contributions to the world of house music. Having performed at many of the world's most revered venues, he has built a loyal following and global audience. Known for his expression under various aliases, Saktus production skills boast an impressive catalogue of both digital and vinyl releases on leading labels.

Saktu and Hesienberg’s trademark sound have received considerable support from prominent figures across the industry including Sonja Moonear, Marco Carola, Tobi Neumann, Dorian Paic, Ricardo Villalobos, Sammy Dee, Thomas Melchior, Arapu, Raresh, and Apollonia.

To kick off the ten year celebration, Saktu and Heisenberg have a number of exciting activations planned, promising to further propel the label into the next decade with a refreshed momentum.
