Reptilian Trillian has recent dropped his sequel to his latest album “Height”. It dropped June 20th and it’s been bringing in streams like crazy. It’s sure to be a fan favorite already.

The first question I had to ask was “ What was the inspiration behind the cover art?” He stated that “The cover art was a homage to my cover for my first ever mixtape back in 2012 but with a huge upgrade. I wanted this to represent the full spectrum of my career as a musician and remind people that even though you may not see it when you start if you stick with something long enough it takes on a life of it's own getting (with a good amount of effort and learning) better with time. I also wanted people to feel like it may have been them on the cover art that's why I went with the astronaut the dark visor gives it that feeling of relatable mystery.” I thought it was so awesome that he payed homage to his old album with the cover art. I think that’s a cool little easter egg for his fans, specially ones that’s been around since he made that first one. I thought the abstract cover art was awesome. I loved how out there it was and how it fit the track list and songs perfectly. I think the cover art is gonna catch the attention of a lot of new listeners that could potentially turn into life long fans. Another question I had was about “ What inspired you on this album?” He stated that “I made a lot of poor decisions in my past and although I had to come to terms with who I am before I could decide how I want to be in the world. All before that realization I was going through life reactively instead of actively. The Height series was inspired by the notion of becoming the highest form of yourself possible and I wanted to give people a front row seat to that evolution” The evolution of artist is always a great thing to watch happen. If you’ve been there since the beginning and you’ve watched him grow each step of the way or just as a friend who’s been there with him for awhile to watch him grow as a human. I love to see a person grow rather as a person or an artist it just makes their work go hard and better. Another one I had was a hard question. I asked “Did you like the sequel more than the first one?” He stated that “The sequel is better than the original. I feel uncomfortable saying that because the first tape was a different vibe a lot more mellow and I wanted this one to be a party from start to finish but one that made people really consider the words and learn something from them while they turned up, so it's hard to compare but this one was a bit more enjoyable to listen to.” I’d have to agree him and say the sequel was a lot better. He really grew as an artist and it showed on his tracks and how he executed it. As he said the first one was a lot more mellow then this one and had its own little vibe but if you’re interested in hearing some boos be sure to check out his latest album “Height”. I had to ask him what his favorite was. I know this can be hard for artist because they put so much work and love into every song. He said that “ It's so hard to pick a favorite that's like asking me which if my kids is my favorite hahaha if I absolutely had to choose is say Prove It was my favorite song there are close seconds and a lot of them but that's my instinct without thinking too deeply about it. Majority is up there too.” He also that he thinks the fan favorite is gonna be "Nightcrawl" or "WhyHateTokyo" . "It's the most fun song on the project but of course I'm waiting to see what the fans have to say on the matter." So if you’re gonna check out his new album make sure to check out his personal favorites and let us know what yours are. Heights the sequel is out now on all platforms.
