A Uplifting Worship Song Cover and the Power of Music for Well-being
In the midst of life's daily hustle and bustle, we often overlook the simple pleasures that bring us genuine joy. For me, that joy comes from music. Today, I had a spontaneous jam session that turned into something truly special – a cover of a beloved worship song by Michael W. Smith, with a verse that I wrote myself.
The Inspiration Behind the Session:
It all started as a way to lift my spirits. Feeling a bit down, I turned to my trusty guitar and decided to play some of my favourite worship songs. As the familiar chords of Michael W. Smith's song filled the room, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and connection. Music has always been my refuge, a way to express my emotions and find solace.
Creating a New Verse:
In the moment, I felt inspired to add my own personal touch to the song. I wrote a new verse that resonated with my current emotions and experiences. It was a cathartic process, allowing me to channel my feelings into something beautiful. The new verse seamlessly blended with the original, and I felt a sense of accomplishment and joy.

Excited by this spontaneous creation, I decided to record the session and share it on YouTube. He finds great pleasure in our pleasure. He finds great joy in our joy.
